Chapter 10: Fire and Ice Argument

Esdeath eyes shadowed by her hair as she can't stop thinking how her lover just jump off the volcano as if nothing will happen to him.

No human can survive the heat produce by lava. She don't understand why he care for that lowly life. He can just leave it dead but why did he have to save it?

The ground began to shake which snap the Jaeger as they look around to the source as it came from the mouth of volcano. Esdeath stood up as she ready herself from the beast

" What the heck happening??!!" Wave freak out as sweat rolled in his face.

" I think the beast healed" Kurome said as she also backed away along with others

While Esdeath did not faze as she ready herself for battle. To kill the one that us the reason for her lover to be dead by now.

Came out from the blast of lava is a huge fire lion with an armor as they look at it as their eyes widen in shock.
In front of them is not only the beast but the man they worried about riding on its back grinning like there's no tomorrow.

" N-Natsu" Esdeath muttered as her eyes still not recovered from shock. He supposed to be dead but he is completely fine and there no scratch in his body.

" Yoh!" Natsu greeted grinning as he went down from the beast as he face them.

Natsu tilted his head in confusion as he raise his brow and look at them curiously as all of them including the stoic Kurome froze in shock while the other jaw drop especially Wave.

" Hey! Are you okay?" Natsu asked in confusion as his spine shivered seeing Esdeath approaching him as her eyes shadowed by her hair.

' W-what did I do? S-she's like Erza and Mira combined' Natsu tought shivering as he close his eyes waiting for beating as he froze to her next action

A soft sensation against his lips as he open his eyes seeing Esdeath kissing him as her arms around his neck while they're chest are in contact which cause him to blush

" You make me worried there" Esdeath said softly as their lips seperate. Natsu eyes widen hearing her worried voice.

' W-what the hell happened to her?' Natsu tought as he found her action now differently.

He heard about Esdeath way of fighting and view in life and that make him despise her. He is not approve of killing innocent and he also dont approve of the way weaks should perish. As he watch their fight yesterday, he saw the most digustful event in his life. Killing them like nothing as she watch in amusement. He don't understand why she act like that. She must have a tough life.

' What make Esdeath like this?' Natsu tought as he stare at Esdeath eyes. He believe that every action has a story behind it. He want to find more about her. How can she become like this? How can she view people life like its entertainment? How can she just kill for her own fun? He don't understand any of it. What is her purpose? If she is the one that rumors said being the strongest in empire. Why didn't she lead the people?

" -su??... Natsu?!" Natsu snap in his tought as he look at Eadeath who is staring at him in worried face

" Ah. Gomene. Just lost in tought" Natsu reasoned out as he smile at her as she blush and lean closer to him. She cupped his cheek as she look into his eyes.

" I am so worried of you. Lets go back for now and both of us will have a date" Esdeath said as Natsu got a shocked face
