Hey guys! From now on this book will be in first person view. Hope that doesn't mess you up too much.

"Well luke, you sure worked off that red bull!  You probably beat your record today!"

Me and Luke parked our dirtbikes at Luke's house and dashed inside for some cold water.

Once rehydrated, our conversation continued. "Alex, it was nothing. All I did was cut through the entire other team," Luke said sarcastically. "What time you gotta be home?"

"Probably around 6. That's usually when dinner is. Plus it's my birthday. I'm sure mom won't mind if you come over too."

"Awesome bro."

We dashed upstairs and jumped into Luke's new gaming chairs, and delved deep into a fps game.

................................................................

Three hours later we were just finishing up the last round of survival.

Luke was screaming. "Dude, I don't even know where that last wave came from. They just seemed to be crawling down the walls like the zombies from World War Z!"

I was screaming with him. "There must have been over a hundred thousand of them. We made it to round 207. Even my missile launcher couldn't hold them off for long!"

"Well, we did good bro." It was starting to get dark.

I looked at my watch. Oh shit. "DUDE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BACK AN HOUR AGO! LETS GO NOW!"

We rushed downstairs and hopped on our dirtbikes, rushing back to my home.

We nearly busted through the door, but we stopped ourselves, not wanting to bust through the door in front of my mom. We walked through the door calmly.

"Mom, I'm hom-"

I looked in the living room. There was his mom and an extremely large man, must have been 6"5', with strong, harsh features, and a nose that looked like it must have been broken more than a few times. His eyes were dark, yet warm, but there was something hiding behind those navy blue eyes. He was extremely well shaven and was dressed in a simple suit and tie.

Luke came in right behind me. His face became pale as soon as he saw the man. The man made a gesture and Luke went back to normal. Strange.

The man stepped up to me and held out his hand. "Hello, Mr. Anderson. My name is Agent Doe. You may call me John." I shook his hand firmly. Something's not right about this guy. "Mr. Harris." How the hell did he know Luke?

"Mr. Doe," Luke glared at him.

Stranger and stranger...

"Mr. Anderson, you may want to sit down for this news."

"I think I'll stand, thank you."

"Very well. This news is about your father."

I faltered a bit. Now he had my attention. "What is it?"

"Your father, he's alive."

I didn't know a floor could move that fast.
