Chapter 10

Margaret POV

As I was curling my hair Sean was in my bathroom with me blow drying his hair since Gabe was taking a shower in his bathroom. Kenneth and Gabe were gonna sleepover after the party was over but everyone was starting to come to my house now so I thought it would be good for us to get ready now. I looked over at Sean through my mirror and he was buttoning up his black button up and I caught a glimpse of his abs making me blush. He left 2 buttons unbuttoned and he rolled his sleeves up showing his arm veins. Jesus what does this boy not have. His white jeans fit perfectly on him and his black low top converse were tied up. He combed his hair a little and left it un styled (which I loved) and he made his way over to me. He smiled as he saw me and I smiled back. I put my hair up into half up half down leaving my side bangs out again. I looked at my outfit once again which was a simple black dress that ended at mid thigh with a cutout in the back and my nude wedges. I was about to grab my makeup bag but Sean grabbed it from me.

"Sean what are you doing?" I asked trying to grab it back but he held it up higher.

"You don't need makeup. You're perfect just the way you are." He smiled and I smirked.

"That's our song now isn't it?" I said and he nodded.

"Of course princess." He smiled and put my makeup bag on the top shelf which I still couldn't reach in these heels.

"Really?!" I said and he laughed at my struggle. I crossed my arms and pouted he smiled at me and grabbed my wrist pulling me in.

"Come here." He said and I walked towards him. I placed my head on his chest and he kissed my temple.

"You're beautiful. With or without makeup. You may think that you're just one person to me but you're my world. Ok?" He said and it made my eyes go wide.

"You are crazy. But I love that about you." I smiled and he smiled back.

"Come on let's go." He said before kissing my temple again and pulling me out the door. As I made my way down the stairs I heard whispers around the room and gasps.

Omg Kaelyn your daughter is dalaga now.

I heard my mothers friends say around the room and I giggled lightly. Filipino mothers and their friends. Am I right?

Sean smiled up at me and held my hand as we walked down.

You and your boyfriend are so cute

Was heard around the room and I laughed. Sean put his arm around me and I smiled. Gabe was talking to Tati on the other side of the room while Kenneth was talking to his girlfriend Kayla. These girls really are beautiful. All of a sudden Kaycee came up to me with a smile but I saw sadness in her eyes.

"Hey Kaycee are you alright?" I asked concerned and she nodded but grabbed my wrist.

"Can I talk to you... Privately?" She asked and I nodded.

"Yeah of course." I said and brought her outside.

"So what's up?" I asked and she took a deep breath before she spoke.

"Take care of Sean, Gabe and Kenneth for me. Ok?" she said and I looked at her.

"What do you mean?" I asked and she sighed.

"I'm leaving California... For good... I got asked to dance in New York and my parents got a new job there... I won't see you guys for a bit..." She said with a sad smile and I gasped.

"Kaycee... I-"

"It's ok... I know what you're gonna say but please take care of them... Especially Sean... Make him happy... Fall in love with each other... Make sure Kenneth and Kayla get married haha... And Gabe... Keep him away from shit." She said laughing but tears were streaming down her face.

"I leave tomorrow morning so I gotta go soon... I have to say goodbye to everyone but thank you for everything Margaret." She said with a sad smile and hugged me.

"Thank you Kaycee it was a pleasure meeting you." I said as I hugged her back.

"Keep in touch ok?" I said and she nodded before handing me her number. I smiled and hugged her one last time before walking back inside with her so she could say bye to everyone. I looked through the crowd of people and I smiled as I saw Sean's back but as I came closer I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest. There was Sean... The guy I fell for... Smiling at another girl with his arm around her waist... Then what happened next killed me... He kissed her... I felt tears form in my eyes and I couldn't find my voice.

"S-Sean?" I said with fear in my voice hoping I was dreaming. He looked at me shocked and looked at the girl. Tears were streaming down my face and I spun on my heel and walked out. I could hear Gabe and Kenneth yelling at him but I could care less right now. My family was no where to be found so I ran outside past the gates. I couldn't see where I was going through all the tears but I heard a car horn blare through the night and all I saw was a bright light before everythingv went black.

Gabe POV

"WHAT THE HELL SEAN!"I yelled and pushed him away from Alexis. He looked at her confused but once everything became clear I saw anger in his eyes.

"Get the fuck away from me. I can't believe you drugged me just to make me believe you were Margaret." He said through gritted teeth before running out to catch up with Margaret. I looked at Alexis and I faked a smile.

"I would smack you but that would be animal abuse." I sassed before running out to catch up with Sean. Sean was already at the gate and Margaret was in the middle of the road. All I heard was a honk blare through the silent night and Sean scream "NO!" Before I heard a loud crash. My eyes widened in fear and I ran towards the gate. There I saw a man kneeling with his head in his hands but then I looked down. I saw Sean on the ground bleeding and unconscious with Margaret right beside him. They both looked lifeless and I screamed for help. Margarets mother ran out first and screamed before I called 911. Next thing I know I'm in an ambulance with Sean while Margaret was in the other one. The paramedics connected him to different machines to keep him alive and all I could do was pray with Kenneth that both of our best friends would live.
