Chapter 12

First day of hell (aka school)
Kayla POV

As I walked around the school to find my locker I ran into Gabe and instantly hugged him.

"Hey!" He said and I smiled.

"Hey! Wanna go find out lockers?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yeah good thing you, me, Kenneth and S-uhm lets go find out lockers." He said and I gave him a confused look before we walked down the hall. Whispers were heard as me and Gabe walked down the hallway and I rolled my eyes. Whatever. As me and Gabe came closer to our locker I saw someone's back facing towards us. I looked at Gabe and went closer. I felt my heart drop as I saw Sean and Alexis.... Kissing by my locker. I haven't seen Sean in 2 weeks and it still broke my heart everytime.

"Margaret I-" Gabe started to say but I ran into his arms and covered my face. I shook my head not wanting to look. The golden bracelet that Sean was supposed to give me glittered but I covered my face in Gabe's shoulder.

"Shh it's ok..." Gabe soothed but it wasn't the same...

"Hey Gabe! Margaret?" I heard Sean say but I didn't look. I felt Gabe shake his head and I heard Sean and Alexis walk away. My heart hurt and I just wanted to go home. I pulled out of Gabe's grip and he gave me a reassuring look before we walked to our lockers. Kenneth came from behind us and I smiled but he knew me better than that.

"What happened?" He said with anger hinting his voice. I just shook my head I put my books and sweater in my locker. I had my hair in loose waves and I wore my light wash ripped skinny jeans with my black heeled Timberlands and I wore a white t-shirt that said the definition of Feminism and a nude light brown oversized cardigan. I tied my t-shirt slightly so it showed my stomach a little. Kenneth and Gabe looked at me and wolf whistled teasingly and I laughed. They laughed with me and smirked.

"What classes do I have with you guys?" I asked trying to forget everything that just happened with Sean. I had a feeling they were just going with it.

"I have Dance, Science, math and PE with you." Kenneth smiled and I turned towards Gabe and he smiled.

"Oh uh I have Dance, Science, English and Socials with you." Gabe said with a smile and I smiled back of course. I smiled brightly and went to English with Gabe as the bell rang. Kenneth stuck his tongue out at us and I laughed as I hugged him.

"I'll see you next class Kenny." I laughed and pulled away. Me and Gabe walked up the stairs to the third floor and he was mumbling sorrys about Sean but I waved him off.

"I'll be fine." I said with a sigh and he put his arm around me.

"He'll come around and if he doesn't I'll literally smack him in the head so he remembers." He said seriously making me burst out in laughter. As we walked towards our class I looked inside the window and saw Sean sitting with Alexis and he was looking at her like a lost puppy. My heart sunk and Gabe noticed this. Sean looked at us through the window and I looked away. Well I guess it's official. I hate English this year.

One hour later

I was sitting with Gabe and we were laughing at the stupidest things then all of a sudden I felt eyes on my back. I spun around and caught a glimpse of Sean staring at us before he looked away. I gave Gabe a confused look and he gave me a look that read "I'll talk to him later." I sighed and nodded before continuing my essay and the topic just had to be Pain.

Next class

Finally PE. I walked through the double doors and instantly saw Kenneth in his basketball shorts and t-shirt. I smiled towards him and his eyes widened and I gave him a confused look and he tilted his head to the right pointing to Sean Lew. My eyes widened and I sighed before walking into the change room. I walked towards my locker putting everything inside once I opened it. Whispers were heard around the lockers. Man people should learn to whisper.

Isn't that the famous dancer?

OMG I LOVE HER!

We should ask for an autograph!

Wasn't she dating Sean? Like THE Sean Lew.

My eyes widened at the last part and I looked at my bracelet. I held my wrist but let it go and it fell by my side as I grabbed my Nike shorts and tank top from my locker.

As I was running my 5th lap around the track everyone was starting to walk on their 3rd and started a wheeze. I shook my head and kept running. Sweat was beaded around my face and my legs hurt but I pushed past everything and now I feel nothing. Running had always relaxed me as does swimming. As I ran closer towards the part of the track that had shade I sighed a breath of relief until I came closer to someone running. My eyes widened before I looked down and prayed that I would pass him without him noticing me.

"MARGARET!" Sean yelled. Shit. I turned around slightly but I kept running. Sean sprinted towards me until he started going at my pace again.

"What is it Sean?" I asked trying to sound as nice as I could but I really wasn't in the mood.

"I uh wanted to ask you if you were alright..." He said looking at the ground and my mouth made a shape of an O.

"Oh... Uhm yeah I'm alright." I said my tone flat and I just ran faster so I could pass him.

"Woah slow down princess." He said with a laugh as he ran towards me. My eyes widened at my old nickname. I clenched my jaw tightly together and kept running faster and faster.
I sprinted 3 laps before everything started to go dark and next thing I know I'm on the ground.

Sean POV

What the heck was that about? Margaret ran away from me and I caught a glimpse of her crying. What's going on? As Margaret sprinted 3 laps I felt a pang of worry go through me as I saw she was starting to slow down until she fell onto the track. My eyes widened and I sprinted as fast as I could towards her. All that ran through my head was crap crap crap please be ok. Wait what the heck Sean you have girlfriend. As I came closer to her I picked her up bridal style and the Mr.Jones came closer.

"May I take her to the infirmary?" I asked with worry hinting my voice. He nodded and I turned around to see Gabe looking at Margaret with worry then his gaze turned towards me and he gave me a look that read "take care of her." And I nodded towards him. I carried Margaret all the way into the school and she was as light as a feather. I looked down at her peaceful face and wondered what she was thinking about.

"What's wrong Margaret?" I whispered to myself before walked through the nurses office.

"Hi Sean! What can I do for- oh god! What happened?" She said with wide eyes as she came towards me and helped me put Margaret on the bed.

"She overdid herself at the track and fainted. Will she be ok?" I asked with worry and she nodded.

"Yeah she'll be fine. Just let her rest and let her take this. It's Advil to help with her headache when she wakes up because I could tel she hit her head pretty hard on the ground but not hard enough to give her a concussion so that's a good thing." She said as she handed me 2 pills and I put the blue hell tablets onto a napkin and nodded towards Nurse Clara and she smiled before she left. I walked out and got Margaret a water bottle from the vending machine before I walked in. I sat next to her bed and watched as her chest rose up and down peacefully and I smiled. Something sparkled on her wrist and I looked down to examine it. I saw a faint vision of Margaret smiling and laughing until it went away in an instant. I clutched my head in pain. What the hell is going on?

Her smile... Was all I could think about.

If you guys want me to update a certain story then just tell me and I'll do my best to give you good chapters to read!
