We walked to school hand in hand. But as soon as we came in, Tommy was surrounded by his friends practically ripping him away from me. Me not being the biggest fan of their aggressive grabbing and all that jazz I just waved at him and mouthed a bye and a sorry. Continuing on my way to our lockers. Going down the hall I said hi to everyone, we all knew each other, mostly because of the small count of our students but also because I was in almost every school extracurricular activity. The longer I stayed in school the less of my parents I see, at least that's the way I see it. Tommy says that if I need an escape that going out with him and being drunk off my butt is the best way to do it. I never go, mostly because I don't want to end up like my father but also because I believe that a drunk teen girl is not a nice sight, it's embarrassing to not be able to walk while dressed in a miniskirt and a crop top. Or maybe I'm the only one that thinks that, doesn't matter anyway.

As I was saying, I roamed the halls smiling brightly until I saw my ex grinding on a girl next to Tommy's locker, more specifically, on my locker. I groan in annoyance, I have no idea what I saw in that boy.

Hearing my groan Alec and the girl, turn to me, the girl turns out to be the school's biggest bimbo with makeup caking her face like a clown, you can basically see the orange line on her neck. Jeez. "Oh, hey Ty Ty, long time no see." "Alec, first off you're gross, secondly you saw me on Friday, meaning, two days ago! Now that we got that settled, please move away from my locker, and pray to God I don't have any of your saliva on it!" I said huffing out a breath. "Baby, I love your saliva, you can give me some more in the bathroom." Melissa seductively whispered to him, I think... I'm not sure if that is what seductive sounds like, to me it sounds like a grandma that just accidentally swallowed one of her teeth. And that was definitely above a whisper. My gag reflexes started to kick in. "I don't remember you having anything against my saliva just a few months ago." He said, to me, making me gag further while he was smirking at Melissa, eyeing her unbuttoned shirt. Yeah boy, smirk away, I don't care anymore. "If a year and a half is just a few months, I surely hope you don't end up in prison for a few months because of being with a hooker." I answered nonchalantly using air quotes while saying the word months. Melissa's face reddened in anger as if she was about to snap back at me, but before she had a chance Alec took her by her arm and lead her away. I smiled in triumph.

"What made you so happy on this fine morning?" The most amazing voice whispered in my ear. "Hey Tony, what are you doing here?" I asked trying to cover up the shiver that went down my spine. "Aren't you supposed to be in school?" "Well, I'm here to see you." "Me?" I asked turning towards him. He nodded. "Explain, and fast, I don't wanna be late for class." "Goody two shoes..." I looked at him annoyed, I might adore this boy with every fiber in me. But he can still make me inpatient. "Okay, okay, down girl, I'm here because my mom wanted you to come for dinner to our house." "You could have just texted me." "You would have said no!" He whined, it's true... As a matter of fact, "I am saying no anyway. You could have saved yourself some gas money." "But if I texted you I couldn't do this!" Now y'all are thinking he kissed me. But no. He gave me his best puppy look. Big eyes, lips in a pout, the whole thing. "No", he grabs my hands gently. "NO!", he hugs me around my waist so I can still see his face. "N.O.!-no!" I say with all my will. "Pwease Tye, for mee." He says pulling me closer. "God damn it James Antonio Parks!" "Is that a yes?" "Is it ever a no? But I have school until 6." "Okay, I'm picking you up sugar." "You're gross. Now go, we're both going to be late!" "Bai!" He says going down the hall. It's always like this with him. He asks for something, I say no, he pouts, I yell, and in the end he wins. It sucks being in a one sided love, because this only works for him, I on the other hand, never get what I want.

"You're still sticking with the story that you guys aren't dating?" Tommy rises his eyebrow as he approaches our joined lockers. "But of course, because that one is true." I reply honestly. "I'm not buying it." "Sure." I nod, intertwining our arms and walking to our first period. Math.
