Rose was never one who trusted easily. She was always guarded. If she trusted you then that means you are very special to her. Only one person has ever gained her trust fully. Only one person who had her heart. But things happened, as they always do. Rose doesn't like to think about what happened but she does anyways. Her thoughts consume her. All she does is think and think and think and do more thinking. It's as if she's drowning in her thoughts, with her hands tied behind her back, feet tied together, duct tape on her mouth, and a bag of rocks tied to her stomach. In the ocean drowning by the minute, getting dangerously close to the bottom, loosing breath.
What is she thinking about you might ask?
She's thinking; "where did she go wrong?" "Why did this happen?"
But only one question keeps coming back and back and back.
"How could he leave?"
After she's asked herself that question she'd cry. Look out her bay window and cry, watching the rain pour.
