Eclipse Diary Ep. 1 Pt. 2

After a short video teaser of each member, the second half of the episode started with Eclipse standing in a line in front of the camera. All of them were dressed in proper going out attire, except for Minyu who still had her pajamas on. A woman from the staff handed JJ an envelope titled mission #1. Dream looked at the envelope, raising an eyebrow.

"I thought waking up Minyu was the first mission." she said, turning to the PD.

Minyu cringed visibly at the mention of the wake up incident, pouting as she glared at the maknae.

"Think of that as a side mission. This is the first official one." replied Kyung-soo, signaling for Jaemin to open the envelope.

JJ peeled off the seal of the envelope, pulling out a piece of blue paper. Everybody waited in anticipation as she read it out loud.

"Mission 1, promote Eclipse. Reach a total of 200k followers on Twitter."

Nobody reacted until Byul spoke up.

"What's the time limit?"

"Forty eight hours."

The effect of these three words were immense. Chenxi muttered some things in Mandarin, JJ grabbed Dream's arm, running towards the door, and the other three members looked absolutely crestfallen. Just as the two girls were about to leave the dorm, Jihae called out to them.

"Wear a coat, it's cold outside!"

JJ sighed in defeat, walking away from the door. She opened the closet and pulled out two coats, one for herself, and one for Dream.

When the two girls finally left along with half the staff trailing behind them, Chenxi sat the rest of the girls down for a group meeting.

"Alright JJ and Dream are off promoting, but 200 thousand isn't an easy number to reach, so I say we split up. Some of us promote using social media, while others go out and do it face to face." Chenxi announced, looking at the members.

"I think that makes sense," Minyu murmured, her voice slightly hoarse from the pepper paste. "but who's gonna do which?"

Silence filled the room, no one had any idea about how the work was going to be divided. Tumbleweed cartoons were edited onto the screen.

"Well, none of us really have personal social media accounts, but Jaemin is close friends with Baekhyun-sunbae." Jihae was the one who broke the silence.

At her words Byul piped up.

"That's true! They keep messaging each other!" she paused, frowning a bit before continuing. "Seriously though, JJ's phone notifications never shut up."

Hearing this, Chenxi grabbed her cellphone, quickly dialing Jaemin's number. None of the girls spoke a word, simply listening to the beeping sound of the phone.

"Hello?" Jaemin's voice echoed throughout the previously soundless room. "Chenxi-unnie, did something—"

"Jae, you gotta do something really important." Chenxi cut in before the other girl could finish her sentence. "Can you call Baekhyun and tell him about our de—"

"Unnie, you want me to ask him for a shoutout?"

Chenxi's eyes widened.

"No! I didn't mean it like that! If you could just call him..." she didn't continue, instead listening to the muffled noises coming from the other end. "Jaemin? You still there?"

"It's Dream, I grabbed the phone. And by the way, I think you guys need to check Twitter more often."

Minyu arched her eyebrow, reaching towards the iPad on the table. The other three girls gathered around her as she unlocked it and opened the Twitter app.
