When Jack got to put on his uniform he quickly grabbed his glove and bat and ran to his car when he arrived at the game he walked to the dugout put his stuff down and began to warm up when it was game time he checked the position chart"Jack left field" Jack ran out onto the field and began to get ready when Jack heard the ump he got down and waited for the ball to come to him first batter hit the ball to Jack it was still in the air Jack ran for it when he was about to catch he he realized he woudnt catch it so he dived for the ball when he landed he looked in his glove the ball was their he got up and threw it to his cutoff near the end of the game he got another ball hit to him he caught it and threw it to his cutoff but not in time to get the first base runner out so he scored once again the score was 27-29 and Jack was up to bat with two guys on base first pitch came "STRIKE ONE" second pitch came "STRIKE TWO" Jack knew if he didn't hit the ball they would have loss so he tightened his grip and hit the ball into left field Jack started to rounded the bases and slid into home plate "SAFE" Jack looked down his ankle still looked the same so he got up and celebrated with the other teammates and he was hoisted up on two players shoulders as he was lifted to the dugout and the coach said to Jack "that was a good game out their I'm happy your back and it would be amazing if you became team captain" Jack said to the coach "yes sir" and then the coach nodded and walked away Jack jumped up and joined his team in rounding the bases
