Chapter 12

   I whined and projected my thoughts to Jasper and his family behind us. I showed him what I did when his family was there and what I did afterwards. I told him that I was sorry and that I can't stay. I told him I am going to make this work. He trusted me.
   I ran back to the house where a new stack of clothes laid. I phased back and changed. I walked into the house where everyone was. I walked up to Sam and grabbed him by his shirt collar. "Teach me to fight." I said cold through my teeth. "What's her deal?" I heard Jared whisper to Jacob. I spun on my heal to face him. "What my deal? Hmm, I don't know. Maybe I should show you." I said. I projected the past days showing him what happened to me. Every year I cried, every word I spoke, every inch of pain I felt.
    I followed Sam outside with everyone behind us. "First you need to learn how to phase without just getting mad." He told me. I nodded. I squeezed my eye shut until it gave me a headache. I balled my hands up into fists. I jumped in the air lunging at Sam and phased. My inner wolf kicked in. Sam phased as well.

Okay, now if you want to fight you need to find your target and go for it. Don't stop for anything. Even if something is in your way still go for. Never stop
Okay, I'm going to be your target. Give me five seconds to run, then I want you to go for me

    He ran in the trees and after five seconds I ran after him. I charged at him. He stopped having me jump over him. He ran the other direction and I followed. I phased back into a vampire for a split second so I could catch up to him. No one saw to much. I phased back quickly and jumped on top of him pinning him to the ground.
Very good. That was better than I expected

     We ran though the backyard wrestling each other. I would phase back and forth tackling him to the ground every time I did that. My brothers thought it was hysterical. I was feeling better. I shot Sam a private vision thanking him for this and how this helped me emotionally. He nodded as a reply.
   "My turn." Jake said. He and Sam switched spots. I ran after him and phased quickly back and forth leaping on to his back. I brought him to the ground and we continued wrestling on the ground. I continued switching back and forth. I was a ball of speed zooming past your eyes.
   "Can I go with Jake?" Paul asked. "Sure, it would be fun to take a break from easy." I said with a smile. I was making Aunt Emily nervous but I didn't care. They stood on either side of me and ran at me. I jumped in the air, phased, and held on to the tree. They collided into each other and I dropped down. I pulled them both to the ground and held them down so quick they didn't have time to react. I walked away from the fight and walked to the deck. I shot Emily a message for her to get me clothes. She brought out a yellow dress with green flowers on it. I changed behind a tree and walked to the deck.
    I told the boys to let Sam and I to talk alone through my thoughts. "Can you do me a favor?" I asked. "That depends." He replied. "The treaty. One exception." I said. "Like what?" He said trying not to get impatient. "Letting Jasper on the lands." I told him. He sighed. "Please, you have no idea how this kills me." I begged. "I do... You've showed me before." He commented. "No, I showed you what I wish I did..." I sighed leaning against the deck railing.
    "I didn't show you all what I really do." I admitted. "I was trying to be strong. I mean look at you. All of the boys, I didn't want to let you see me hurting. Crumbling, the way I acted... I wasn't me." I told him. He didn't answer. I projected my thoughts for everyone to see. There was no hiding now.
   I was awful... I looked like hell. I cried and screamed. I laid in bed hoping he was okay all alone. Then I switched thoughts. It was now Jasper. He wasn't crying since he couldn't but he was heartbroken. He laid in bed at night hoping I was okay as well. That I wasn't hurting to bad.
  I stopped the thought not realizing I was crying until it was over. "Adeline... I'm sorr-" o cut him off. "One exception. That's all I ask. If you can't find the will to do it for him then do it for me." I hissed. "Okay, he may cross the lands at any time. But only him." He reminded me. "Thank you!" I screamed. I ran off into the woods liking for him.
   I ran through the woods at vampire speed and up to the house. I ran through the yard as Carlisle opened the door. He stood there with the door open as I ran by. "Jasper!" I yelled. He ran into the room and I jumped into his arms. I put my fingers in his hair and held him tight. "Adeline what's going on?"'he asked. I couldn't talk. I couldn't breath. I showed him what I told Sam which also included the vision I have him.
   He gasped. "Are you sure?" He asked. Positive i told him. "What's going on?" Emmett asked walking in. "Oh the mutt is back." He muttered. I dropped out of Jaspers arm. I grabbed Emmett by the shirt collar and dragged him outside. I threw him in the air and kicked him in the stomach sending him soaring through the air.
    He charged back at me and I phased causing the dress to rip in pieces. I ran after him into the trees. He was ahead of me so I quickly phased and went back to wolf and jumped on his back brining him to the ground. I dragged him back for his family to see. He struggled against my steal grasp.
    Edward threw some clothes at me and I phased, caught them, and ran behind a tree to quick for them to see. I got dressed and walked back out. "Filthy Bloodsucking leech." I hissed at him. "You're one too." He replied. "No, I'm hybrid. Therefore I'm neither of what you called me." I said matter of factly.
   Jasper ran over and grabbed me by the ankle, swung me over his shoulder, and held me there upside down as he ran vampire speed through the forest. He ran me over to Sam's. "I have a delivery for Sam Uley!" He yelled. Everyone ran outside to see me upside down on Jaspers back. Embery walked over and took my other ankle. "I'll take it from here thank you." He said laughing.
   I locked my hands around his waist and flipped forwards off of him and took off running. He chased after me as Jasper watched laughing. Embery leaped toward and gently brought me to the ground. I looked into his big soft brown eyes as he did the same.
  It was if the world had stopped turning. Gravity had shut off. Nothing else mattered. He was holding me to earth by tens and thousands of strings. Not stings but steel chains. He held me here. He was the one, not Jasper. What had just happened. Had I just imprinted on Embery?
