''You're not going to eat sweetie?" my mom asks while coming in my room.

''No I'm okay'' I say.

''Studying for any upcoming test? I know you have a few I've been talking to some of your teachers.'' she says. An I get treated like a big ass kid. I bet I'm the only senior whose mom actually calls and talk to there teachers.

''I am'' I say.

''You're okay?''

''I'm fine mother'' I say.

''Armani watch your tone'' she says.

''Can you just get out'' I say almost yelling. She looks at me one more time and closes my door. It's time for a change and I promise that it's going to happen.

The next morning at school I didn't try and look for Gabie. I didn't even wanna talk to her as of now. But I had no other friends so it was really weird walking around the school with no one.

''Aww where's your friend?'' I look up and see that it's my bully from elementary school.

''Leave me alone Erica'' I say.

''Girl grow up. What is you wearing? What grade are we in?'' she asks. I look down at my jeans and floral shirt and my white vans.

''What's wrong with what I'm wearing?'' I ask.

''What isn't wrong?' she asks laughing.

''I think its best if you leave me alone and go find someone else to mess with'' I say.

''You're such a pussy'' she says

''Leave her alone'' Gabie says coming to my rescue as always.

''Oh there she goes'' Erica says.

''What's the problem?" Gabie asks looking at me.

''Give your bestfriend some dress tips. We're in the 12th not 6th'' Erica says.

''An your body more like 20'' Gabie says.

''What hoe?''

''Hoe? Girl I'm not a hoe!'' Gabie says.

''Why you worried about my body count?'' Erica asks.

''Why you worried about what she wearing?'' Gabie asks.

''Man whatever. If you ain't squaring up then shut up'' Erica says.

''Yeah go and suck some dick'' Gabie says laughing watching Erica walk off pissed.

''You always saving me'' I say packing my belongings.

''Where you going?'' she asks.

''Class'' I say.

''Really Mani? What's the problem? Was it something that I said the yesterday?'' she asks.

''Its nothing'' I say and walks off.

''Damn excuse you'' says this boy who I bumped into. All my books had fell to the ground.

''No excuse you'' I say looking at all my books.

''Mybad'' he says bending down to help me. He hands me the book.

''Thank you'' I say finally looking at him. Lord ... Mercy.. Omg.

''You welcome'' he says not even looking at me and walking off. He was so fine.

''Man Armani don't make me fuck you up girl'' Gabie says. I can never get rid of her.

''Mybad'' I say.

''I see you checking that boy out. He is cute'' she says.

''He okay. Not my type'' I say.

''Justin Bieber is your type'' I say. I just glare at her. ''Okay I'm sorry''

''This the reason why I'm not talking to you in the first place'' I say.

''Why you get so offensive yo? Are you ready to change? Are you ready to come out the white girl? Maybe that boy would of looked at you back if you wouldn't be having this on... Its cute don't get me wrong but man Armani I know you got it in you to change. Look at this bun really'' she says talking about my messy bun.

''What's wrong with my bun?'' I ask.

''Get you some bundles, jordans, skirts, dresses, crop tops, piercings, tattoos,'' she says.

''All that stuff is expensive'' I say.

''An you got all the money'' she says.

''Whatever'' I say.

''Wassup Gabie'' says a group of boys.

''Hey'' Gabie says smiling.

''Sup white girl'' they say to me. Anger crosses me.

''I'm not fucking white. I'm black as fuck as you see'' I say. I was shocked my damn self. That's the first time I ever cursed.

''Oh shit'' Gabie says. The boys look scared and walks away.

''Let's get this shit over with. I'm tired of being white as fuck'' I say to her. Her eyes pop open.

''What bitch?" I ask. She busts out laughing.

''Okay okay I hear ya'' she says giving me a hug. ''I'm going to have fun with you'' she says taking out my messy bun in the middle of the courtyard.

''Oh my god Gabie'' I say. She laughs. I hope this transformation really works.
