I had just walked in the door, and I could feel that something was off. I rushed into the living room were all of my relatives were crowded around in some form a circle, as I stepped closer to the circle they all started turning their heads simultaneously in such a way it made shivers creep up and down my spine. Whats wrong I uttered out in low voice. Cynthia au...aunt Clair is dead. My mother spoke with sadness in her usually cheerful, and humble tone. What do you mean dead, she was barley 45, wha...wha...how? I asked;the room fell silent and I wanted to cry I really did but I couldn't shed a tear for a woman so evil.I had never loved my "aunt Clair" and I knew I never would at the early age 5 when she told me that it was good my dog died, she said that it would prepare me for the real world. I never understood why people tell children that, It doesn't make us believe that we live in some parallel fiction universe, and the adults only live in the real human world, any way it goes the real world doesn't need  people like aunt Claire or her daughter.
Are you okay sweetheart? My mother asked , her voice waking me from my daze. Yes ma'am I'm, okay my voice faded out as I tried to sort my thinking. I knew I was supposed to be sad and mourn for aunt Clair, and for Kim, and for uncle Morris but her life meant nothing to me,and I couldn't change that, only she could if she weren't well dead. I looked swiftly around the circle of family that had accumulated, before taking a sear next to Kim. She looked so lost, and so confused. I would have felt bad for her, but she had found her on my list of evil people right next to her mother who was now dead so that moved her up to the top. I ran my hand across her back trying my best to show support and comfort, but I knew Kim was just as relived as I was. Seeing that she hated her mother more than anyone on the earth.
