Chapter 15
Lu's pov
I gripped the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white. I was completely pissed. There was a tense awkward silence between us. "Lucious slow down." I slowed down. "Can you pull over?" I sighed pulling over looking at her.

"What do you want?" I asked annoyed.

"Look I'm sorry okay. I shouldn't have done that to you." Cookie stated. I just looked down then out the window. I looked into Cookie's eyes.

"You think sorry is gonna fix this? Like that's gonna a big band aid over what you just did to me?" I paused looking down. Then I looked her in the eyes. "I don't trust you anymore." With Cookie stood shut. "Exactly nothing to say lets just find the kids." I keep driving to Philly. Once we got there we pulled up to the warehouse. I got out and Cookie followed me to the trunk.

"Lucious," She called me. I had one of guns in my hand. I was struggling with fixing it. She put her hand on mine. "Look at me."

"What?" I looked at her in the eyes.

"You don't have to do this alone." She said. I scoffed but she was making my heart melt by that look in her eyes. She took away my gun and fixed it for me. "Here." I had a silencer on it. I pulled the trigger and it went off but it was blanking. I checked the clip and it was empty. I filled it with bullets then took a deep breathe. We walked in there and saw them. Hakeem, Damien, and Kia were all tied up and those stupid Bulls were sitting there asleep next to them.

"Fucking bastard." Cookie remarked. I looked up and saw something dangling from the ceiling. It was right under the Bulls. I shot it and it fell right on top of all them. They screamed and Cookie walked over to the kids. Cookie kissed them on their cheeks. She untied them and turned to me. I looked at all of them. They thought they could torture my son and use her. I was standing over them watching the life drain out of Laz's eyes.

"You think that's all?? Now you'll have to deal with him." Laz stated.

"Now your gonna have to deal with me." I retorted. I dragged him and one of his boys that was still alive into the darkest corner in the warehouse. I shot Laz and his boy in the head. Then I walked back over to rest of them shooting them the heads. Cookie looked at me with fear in her eyes. I just walked to the car not caring about the blood on me. I was sitting on the car trunk which I opened waiting for them.

Cookie's pov
He's gone. I hurt him bad. I hate this it's so twitsted. I turned my attention back to my babies. "Hakeem,"

"What you didn't find us for two months!!!!! Two months!!" He yelled.

"We were trying to find you guys." I replied.

"Trying? More like you weren't looking at all." Hakeem shot back. He walked out then Lucious dragged him back in the room.

"Apologize to her and feel grateful we found you." Lucious said gripping his arm.

"I'm sorry." Hakeem stated. Lucious let him go then went back outside. Hakeem went with him. I looked down at Kia and Damien who were huddled close to me.

"What did you do to him?" Damien asked.

"Something bad." I replied. We went to the car and I helped them both in. I sat in the passenger seat on my phone. Then I looked Lucious. One of his hands was on the gear shift. I grabbed it holding his hand. He looked at me for a quick second then put his hand on the steering wheel. I sighed then stopped trying with him for the rest of the night. He drove me to my house and the kids were asleep in the back. I looked him.

"Thank you Lucious." I said.

"For what?" He asked.

"For being there and obviously for them." I replied.

He smirked a little blushing,"Why do you have this effect on me?" His looked happy for a minute.

"Because you love me." I shot back. I leaned in to kiss him I kissed him. He kissed back then pulled away with the happiness fading away in his eyes.

"You should go I still gotta get Hakeem back." Lucious stated.

"Okay I get it can you help get them upstairs then?" I asked.

"Yeah," Lucious got out the car and carried Damien up first. I got out the car and he had Kia in his arms.

"I got it Lu go," I carried her upstairs to my apartment. Lucious left me feeling incomplete. I laid down on my couch with Kia and Damien.

Lucious's pov
I was driving Hakeem feeling drained. I really do love her but still feel like I don't trust her. Like if I let my guard she's gonna hurt me again but worse. I sighed then I parked the car. I dropped Hakeem off at his apartment. Then drove home. I parked my car in the garage and walked inside my house. I went to my room laying down on my the bed which smelled like Cookie perfume. That only made me miss her more. Stop Lucious she hurt you. You don't need her. I got up and got faded. I had my phone in my hand. I looked at my contacts. I decided if I should call Cookie. No don't you call her. I scrolled up and called Rihanna.

The Next Morning
Lucious's pov
I woke yup the next morning and didn't recognize where I was at first. Shit what have you done? I got up getting my clothes realizing I was at Rihanna's. I put on my clothes then she walked back the room laughing.

"Ay Lucious calm down." Rih said.

"Why I fucked you I can't rn," I replied putting the rest of my clothes on. She kept laughing. "Am I missing something here?"

"Yea a whole lot. Stay for a while you gonna need to catch up with everything." She said. She made me some food. I was sitting on her couch. Then she served me some food. "Look you wanna know what happened?" I shook my head yes. "You called me up faded last night talking about how you miss Cookie. You sounded really upset so I came and picked you up. Once I did and we got to my house you tried to fuck me but I didn't let you."

"Oh," I looked down. Rihanna made me look up at her.

"I couldn't do that to you, okay? You love her too much and I respect that." Rih said.

"Thanks for not taking advantage of me then." I replied.

"Your welcome and plus at least she knows who's her daddy is." Rihanna stated. Diamond ran up to me smiling. I smiled and kissed her on the cheek. We took selfies. I looked Rihanna then kisses her. She pushed me off of her. "No Lucious you deserve Cookie."

"Thanks for helping me out." I stated.

"Your welcome." Rihanna said. I posted the selfie with Diamond. Then I got up leaving going to Empire. I was in my office and I saw Cookie walk in. I looked at her. Damn she looks fine today.

"Lucious," Cookie called me.

"What can I do for you today?" I asked smiling.

"You sick??" She asked.

"No what do you need?" I asked.

"Um Jamal and Skye are fighting again. They can't get this music video done." Cookie stated.

"Can't you settle it?" I replied.

"Yea but," I smiled at her.

"You needed an excuse to come talk to me." I saw right through her act.

"Actually I was gonna ask when are you coming to the set of my music video??They want a lot of promotion money," Cookie informed me. I was hesitant at first.

"Okay what do we have to do?" I questioned.

"Act like we're in love." She replied. I sigh rubbing the back of my neck. I had a tattoo of her name on me. "It's okay if you don't want to do it. I'll just get Tyrese Gibson to do it,"

"I'll do it." I answered. Cookie smiled at me.

"So I'll see you later then Lu," She smiled winking at me. As Cookie was walking away she shook her hips making me look at her sexy body. Oh what did I just get myself into?? She's gonna hurt you again.
