Chapter 16 !TRIGGER WARNING!

*Lexie's POV*
We reach the hospital and Jovani is a crying mess. "What's wrong?", says the nurse that comes out. Jovani explains everything and my vision turns black.

*Jovani's POV*
"Come on babygirl, stay with me", I say. She's fading in and out and I don't know what to do. We finally reach the hospital and I'm a crying mess. A nurse comes out and asks what happened. I explain everything about the pool and her cuts and Lexie passes out. They put her on a stretcher and I run in next to them with Angel. I hold Lexie's hand. They take her into a room and hook her up to saline and a heart monitor. "Excuse me Mr. Jara I'm going to have to ask you to leave the room", says Doctor Davis. "But I can't lose her", I say. "We will do everything we can to save her", says the doctor. "I'm not leaving", I say. "Sir if you want us to save her I need you to leave", replies the doctor sternly. "Fine", I say and I walk out into the lobby. I sit down and I get a call from Julian.

*on the phone*
Julian: "Hey how is she?"
Jovani: "Not good"
Julian: "Do you want me to come down there? So you don't have to go through this alone?"
Jovani: "Please"
Julian: "Alright I'm on my way"
Jovani: "Thank you so much"
Julian: "Family sticks together"
Jovani: "Here comes the doctor now I gotta go"
Julian: "Tell me the news when I get there. I'll be there in 5"
Jovani: "Okay bye"
*hangs up phone*

"Mr. Jara?", says the doctor. I slowly get up and walk over to him. "That's me", I say. "Alrighty then follow me", replies Dr Davis. I walk behind him and he leads me to Lexie's hospital room. We walk in and he closes the door behind me. "I've got good news and bad news, which do you want first?", he asks. "Bad news", I reply. "Lexie has suffered from severe blood loss and popped a vein in her arm", he says. "Oh my god", I say. "The good news is that your baby is okay and Lexie should be ready to leave the hospital tomorrow morning", he says. "That's amazing", I say. "We would like to keep her overnight for observation", says the doctor, "is that alright with you?" "That's perfectly fine as long as I can stay with her", I reply. "We ask that no one stay with any patient unless they are related in some way", says the doctor. "Fine then", I say. "We need you to sign some papers
staying that she is to stay overnight for observation", replies Dr. Davis. "Okay fine", I say. I sign the papers and I wait for Julian. I hear a knock on the door. "Come in", I say. "Hey what's the news?", asks Angel. "Well the baby is okay but Lexie suffered from severe blood loss and popped a vein in her arm. He said she should be ready to go home by tomorrow morning but they need to keep her overnight for observation", I reply. "Thank god she's okay", says Angel. 2 minutes later I hear another knock on the door. "Come in", I say. I see Julian walk in. "Hey what's the news?", he asks. I tell him everything I told Angel. "Jovani?", says Lexie. "I'm here baby", I say and walk over to her bed and grab her hand.
"Why am I here?", she asks. I explain everything to her and she cries.

*Lexie's POV*

"Why am I here?", I ask. Jovani explains everything to me and I cry. "Babygirl what's wrong?", he asks. "I could've killed the baby", I say putting my face in my hands. "But you didn't baby that's the point", he replies. "I'm a bad mom", I reply. "No you're not you're an amazing mom", he says. "I want to go home", I say. "Babe you can't you have to stay overnight so they can make sure everything is okay", he says. "But I want to go home so I can be with you", I reply. "I want you to come home too", he replies hugging me. "I'm so glad I have you in my life", I say. "I'm glad I have you princess", he says. "I love you", I say. "I love you too", he replies.

*The next morning*
I wake up and I check my phone. I have 2 text messages from Angel, 4 from Julian, and 1 from Jovani. I open the one from Jovani first.

*Text message*
Goodmorning princess💞I just want to say I love you and last night was hell without you😭 I couldn't ask for a more perfect😍, smart, amazing, and stunning girlfriend😘 you're absolutely perfect💚 I love you so much baby girl☺️ I'll see you soon😌💖

*This is what she replies*
Aww thank you so much baby😘 I can't wait to see you😭💞

I open the texts from Angel and she said that she loves me and texted goodnight. I open the texts from Julian and he said that I'm his bestfriend and he has to tell me some thing. The doctor comes in and I lock my phone and set it on the table next to my bed. "Are you ready to go home?", asks the doctor. "Oh my god yes", I say. "I'll call your boyfriend and let him know", replies the doctor laughing. "Thank you", I say. "You're welcome sweet heart", replies the doctor.

*15 minutes later*

"Hey babe", says Jovani as he walks into my hospital room. "I missed you", I say. "I missed you more", he says. "Can we please get out of here?", I ask. "You need to change out of that hospital gown. I'm the only one who can see your butt", he says, winking. "Oh stop it", I say blushing. "I brought you some clothes", he says. "Can you help me up?", I ask. "Anything for you my love", he says. He helps me up and I grab the clothes that he set on the table next to my bed. "Lock the door", I say. "Okay", he replies. He brought me a pair of his sweatpants and one of his hoodies. (outfit up top)
I get dressed and I put my lokai back on. I put my hair up into a messy bun. I put my shoes on and grab my phone and charger. "You ready?", he asks. "Yes let's go", I reply.

*2 weeks later*
I wake up to Julian asleep on the couch next to me and I have my head on his lap. "Julian wake up", I say. "What?", he says. "We fell asleep watching movies last night", I reply. "Oh. Where's Angel?", he says. "Upstairs", I reply. "Thanks. How is your arm?", he asks. "I don't know", I say. "Show me", he says. "I'm scared", I say. "Why?", he asks. "I'm scared you'll hate me", I say. "You're my best friend I could never hate you babygirl", he says. I slowly lift up my sleeve and I show him. He sits there, frozen. "Julian?", I say. "Please don't ever do this again. Please babygirl", he says. "I can't promise anything but I'll try not to", I lie. He knows it's going to happen again. He kisses my cuts and I hug him. "I'm sorry", I say, starting to cry. "Promise me", he says. "I can't", I say. "Promise me", he says. "I-I can't", I say and I run upstairs into my bathroom. I lock both doors. I break another razor and I start cutting. "One, two, three", I say making three lines on my arm with the blade. "Four, five, six", I say making three more lines. "Seven, eight, nine, ten", I say again, this time making four more lines. I sit there for a second and look at the blood coming out of the cuts. I put my shirt down and pull down my leggings. I make 10 cuts on each on my right thigh and right hip. Then I do the same with the left thigh and hip. I pull up my leggings and I sit down on the edge of the tub and cry. "Lexie?", says Angel. "I'll be out in a second", I reply. "Are you okay?", she asks. "I'm fine I'm just fixing my makeup and hair", I reply. "Okay", she says. I put away the blades, wash off my face, and fix my hair. I unlock both doors and I walk out of the bathroom. I grab my phone off its charger. And I walk downstairs into the living room. "Hey are you okay?", says Julian. "I'm fine I just had to go pee", I say. "Are you sure?", he asks. "Yeah. Where's Jovani?", I ask. "He's still sleeping", says Julian. "Oh my god are you kidding me it's almost noon", I say. "Nope he's still sleeping", says Julian. "Imma kill that boy", I say. "He just texted me and told me to tell you he wants you to go to his room", says Julian. "Um okay", I say and I go up the stairs. "Jovani?", I ask. No answer. I knock on his door. Still no answer. I walk in. "Jovani are you awake?", I whisper. No answer. I walk over to his bed and I pull up the covers and slide under them. He rolls over and puts his arms around me. "Hey babe", I say. "Hi", he says. "It's two months today for the baby and its 9 for us", I say. "Yay! Happy anniversary babe", he says. "Go back to sleep and I'll be right back", I say. "Okay", he says. I don't leave his arms and I fall asleep and I wake up 30 minutes later to the baby kicking me. "Well looks like I'm not going back to sleep", I whisper. I carefully slip out of Jovani's arms and manage to not wake him up. I go downstairs to the living room and see Angel sleeping on the couch with her head on Julian's shoulder. "Julian?", I say. "What's up?", he asks. "I'm going to make food do you want anything?", I ask. "Nah I'm good", he says. "Okay", I say. I make my food and I end up making scrambled eggs. I get out a plate and put the eggs on it. I sit down at the table and I eat and put the plate in the sink. I sit down on the couch. Jovani comes downstairs 5 minutes later with a blanket. He sits down on my lap and I cringe. "Whats wrong?", he says. "Nothing my thighs are just sore", I say. "Do you want me to get up babe?", he asks. "Please do", I say. "Okay", he says. I get up to go get some water and blood from my cuts drips down my arm and onto the floor. Jovani sees and he comes over and kisses me. "Why?", he asks...
