Chapter 18

*Lexie's POV*
"I love you babygirl ", he says. "Which one?", I ask, laughing. "Both", he says, smiling. "I love you", I say. "I love you more", he says. "There's no way", I say. "Yeah there is", he says. "You gotta catch me first", I say and I run out of the room. He runs after me and I run to Julian and hug him. "What are you doing?", he says. "Running from Jovani", I say. "Why?", he asks. "Protect me!", I squeal. Jovani reaches us and Julian steps in front of him. "Dude chill", says Jovani. "I'm just doing what she told me to. She said "Protect me!", he says mocking my voice. "Oh she's definitely gonna get tickled", says Jovani. "Nooooo", I say. "Yes", he says. "Julian help me!", I say. "Nope", he says and he steps away. Jovani runs up to me and picks me up. He puts me on the couch and starts tickling me. "Wait!", I say, a laughing mess. "What?", he says. "When I was in the hospital Julian texted me and said "Jovani and I have to tell you something", I say. "Oh yeah I forgot about that", says Julian. "Uh Julian can I talk to you for a sec? Upstairs", says Jovani. They go upstairs and come back down 5 minutes later. "So what do you need to tell me?", I ask. "Julian and I are going on tour for a few months", says Jovani. "But I'm gonna miss you", I say, tears flooding to my eyes. Julian walks over to me. "Hey don't cry", he says. I jump into his arms and I put my head on his shoulder and cry. "Lexie", says Jovani. "Yeah?", I say. "You can come with us for the first stop on the tour since it's close to home", he says. "Oh my god really?", I say jumping down from Julian's arms and hugging Jovani. "Yeah babe", he says. "When do we leave?", I ask. "Tomorrow", says Jovani. "Shit I gotta pack", I say. "We have to go out because it's our anniversary", says Jovani. "Can we go to the park?", I ask. "Anything you want", says Jovani. "I gotta change", I say. "But you look amazing", Jovani says. "Um I'm in sweatpants", I say. "Do whatever you want then", he says. "Be right back", I say and I kiss Julian's cheek and Jovani's cheek. I get ready and do my makeup. (outfit up top) I walk back downstairs. "Wow you look amazing", says Jovani. "Thanks", I say. "All I see is Julian just staring at me. "JULIAN!", I yell. "What?", he says. "Quit staring", I say. "You look pretty", he says. "Thanks", I say. "Well we should get going", says Jovani. "Okay then let's go", I say. Jovani takes my hand and we walk out of the house. We walk to the park because it's 5 minutes away from the house. We get there and I get on the swing and Jovani starts pushing it. 10 minutes later I stop the swing and I get off. "Carry me", I say. He picks me up and starts walking around. "I'm tired", I say after an hour of laying in the grass, running around, and just being weird. "Wanna go home?", he asks. "Yes please", I say. We walk home hand in hand with our fingers interlocked. We get home and I go pack. He comes in my room and I tell him that I'm going to bed. I walk over to my bed, pull back the covers and lay down. Jovani walks over to me, kisses my forehead and stomach. "Goodnight beautiful. Sweet dreams", he says. And I drift off to sleep. I wake up 10 minutes later screaming and crying. Jovani runs in. "What's wrong?", he asks. "Bad dream", I say. "Do you wanna tell me about it?", he asks. "Not now", I say. "I'm going back to sleep", he says starting to walk out. "Can you stay with me tonight?", I ask. "Anything for you princess", he says...
