"I do not want to do this." Harry whined as him and Liam walked up the stairs to go talk to Zayn.
"Babe it's not that bad, relax." Liam said rubbing Harry's back.
They were getting ready to talk to Zayn about them leaving because they wanted to get Zayn a little bit more comfortable with the idea that the two men would leave but always come back. They told the kids they were going to go to work but they were actually going to start Zayn's adoption process.
"Are you 100% sure I can't just go to school with him. I don't want to see him cry." Harry pouted and Liam shook his head with a laugh as he opened Zayn's bedroom door.
"Zaynie can we talk for a bit." Harry said as he walked into the boys room, where he was playing with some is Niall's old action figures. Zayn gave a small nod as Liam picked him up and placed him on the bed.
"So Zayn, first off we want you to know that we love you a lot and that we would never leave you forever. Secondly, you need to know that Harry and I travel quite a bit and so some days we won't be able to play with you so Louis and Niall will have to." Liam said and Zayn furrowed his eyebrows.
"You go?" Zayn asked cocking his head.
"Yeah, tomorrow and not for a long time maybe a couple hours, but remember we will always come back." Harry said rubbing Zayn's leg.
"Promise." Zayn asked holding up his pinky finger which Harry happily wrapped his finger around.
"I promise, but on the bright side while Liam and I work, you get to play Louis and Niall." Harry said and Liam nodded trying to lift the boys mood.
"Cuddle?" Zayn mumbled and the two adults cooed.
"Yeah just for a little bit though." Liam said as he laid down on the queen size bed. Zayn cuddled happily into the two older men's sides and dozed in and out of sleep.

The night went on with Zayn being a bit more clingy than usual, but the older men didn't mind because they knew it would make Zayn feel better, the next morning is when things started going down.
Zayn was fine when Harry and Liam left since Niall had distracted the young boy and was now currently playing action figures with the boy. Louis walked down and Niall frowned when he saw Louis' mad face.
"What's wrong Lou?" Niall asked as his action figure crashed into Zayn's.
"None of you business. Why are you playing with him?" Louis spat as he flopped in the couch.
"Because he is living with us and he's fun to play with." Niall said and Louis rolled his eyes.
"God you need to grow up." Louis mumbled causing Niall to frown. Usually Louis was happily running around the house and making people smile, but lately he had been a complete jerk to everyone. Even before Zayn came, he would hang out with Niall less and go out more. It really hurt Niall's feelings since him and his brother have always been super close.
"Zaynie why don't we get some lunch." Niall said holding his hand out for Zayn as the younger boy stood up.
Niall quickly made Zayn and him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before sitting down with the boy to eat. Louis walked in a few minutes later and actually looked up at Niall.
"Dad and Papa said they will be home in about two hours." he said and Niall nodded while Zayn cocked his head.
"Whose that?" Zayn asked and Niall smiled.
