The Mask

The Black Mask Figures

            As I went into the mirror I stepped onto bright green grass. I looked up and found myself standing on what seems to be an open field. Trees where surrounding the sides on the field.  The sky was blue as ever with white puffy clouds everywhere. I laughed with a wide smile on my face. It was just as I Imagined it would be. All that was missing was the black forest.

            Sir Ace followed behind me as I ran, spinning in circles in enlightenment. This cant be happening! How can the world in my head be real? I ignored my thoughts and tried to enjoy myself.

           "Follow me" Sir Ace said. Starting to walk the opposite direction. I turned around and started to following him.

          

               *In the distance someone was watching them. A black masked figure. But he wasn't alone. There where two other guys with him. They both had the same masks as each other. They smiled evilly and kept following them*

         We arrived in a small village. Each house different from the next. Everyone was so friendly. They waved as we pasted by.

      As we started walking away from the village we started walking on a small trail, far away from everything. The village was probably a couple of miles away from us.

       "So" I said trying to make the travel less awkward. "What made Robin go all evil?"

       He looked up seeing nothing but trail going on for miles. "Its old history" He said trying to change the subject.

        There was a short pause. All you could hear was Sir Ace's sword clanging against his side. But there was another felling. That felling I felt when I was in my bed room.

        I stopped walking and tried to lesson to every sound I could possibly hear. Sir Ace stopped and turned to me. "Whats wrong?" He said in a whisper voice.

      "Where being followed" I said still whispering. His eyes got big and took out his sword slowly. I look around but didn't see anyone. I was hopping that no one was there because I had nothing to protect myself with.

        Sir Ace looked around but didn't see anyone. "Maybe it was nothing." he said. Putting his sword back into his holster. He turned around and started walking when all of a sudden the black masked figures jumped out and grabbed Ace by this arms. Sir Ace struggled to get free but failed.

       I walked backward away from Sir Ace. Another one of the black masked figures started walking towards me. He smiled looking up and down me. Studying me.

        As I was walking back I bumped into the third figure and he grabbed me by the arms. I struggled but couldn't get free. "Let me go!" I ordered as the third masked figure pulled my arms closer together.

        They all laughed. "Shes feisty isn't she" one said. Sir Ace stopped struggling and looked at the figure standing in front of me. "You work for Robin I presume" he said in a calm voice.

     The black masked figure turned and faced Ace. He bowed. Then looked up at Ace. "The one and only"

      "Well tell him to stop sending idiots like you and tell him to face me like a man" Ace snapped

     The three masked figures laughed. "idiots? I wouldn't be insulting the ones who has the chosen  one" The guy that was holding me by the arms said.

         I struggled more but failed again. Times like theses I wish I had a pocket knife or something to protect me with.

      The third masked figure pulled out a small knife and walked towards me. I struggled but the guy that was holding me slapped me on the side of my head. Telling me to stop moving.

     I stopped but my eyes grew big. I looked over at Ace, scared. Ace's eyes where wide open, starting to struggle to get free.

      "If you hurt her I swear!" I heard Ace yell. But the masked figure covered his mouth so he could talk. The guy with the knife stopped in front of me and pulled the blade to my throat. He smiled as his face was close to mine.

     "Tell Robin we found what hes been looking for!" He said to the one holding me. He threw me to the guy with the knife and he cough me. Turning my body close to his as he puts his arm around my throat with the blade still there.

      Sir Ace pulled hard and got free. He pulled out his sword and a whistle. He held the sword up and faced it towards the figure that was holding me.

    Then he blew hard on the whistle. Nothing happened for a short while when all of a sudden a gold and white griffin showed up. It stopped behind Ace.

       "Let her go or Ill let you deal with my little friend" Sir Ace said in a strong and manly voice.

      The black masked figures hesitated for a second then let go off me. Pushing me to Sir Ace. He cough me and the figures ran away.

     I took a deep breath of relief as they ran away. One yelling at us that they'll be back. I rolled my eyes and looked up at Ace.

       "Are you okay?" He said. I nod "Now I am" I said smiling. He smiled back and turned around to the Griffin. I walked up to the Griffin and smiled.

        "Hello boy" I said in a high voice. I scratched the top of its head as it smiled and wagged its massive tail.

       Sir Ace got on the Griffin, ready to ride it. "Shale we?" He said reaching his hand out for me to grab it. I smiled and took his hand and got onto the griffin.

      "This will be easier than traveling by foot. Plus we might not run into some of Robins workers." He said as the griffin goes up in the air.

      I smiled as we got into the white puffy clouds. I stretched my arms out portending to be flying. I kept thinking about the black masked figures and what they where going to do next...

(OKAY I'M GOING TO STOP THE CHAPTER THERE! HOPE YOU GUYS LIKED IT! IF YOU DID PLEASE LEAVE A LIKE OR COMMENT:) see I told you we would have a fight scene in this chapter XD THE NEXT CHAPTER IS GOING TO BE REALLY GOOD SO STAY TUNED!:)
