As I watch the sun rise, I start to notice Wist waking up slowly next to me. I start to realize I'm not as alone as I thought I was in this horrible, horrible world. As long as I have her, I think I'm okay. I'll always be okay as long as I have her. I appreciate her so much. I appreciate her being here for me no matter what is going on.
"Morning, day dreamer." I hear a groggy, soft voice come from my right side. I smile as I see Wist covering her eyes with her arm, trying to block out the rising sunshine.
"Morning, sleepy princess." I giggle a little as I say this. She just smiles at me and turns to fully face me from her initial position of being on her back, going onto her right side. She puts her head on her hand as a support to keep it up as she looks at my face for a few minutes. Neither of us speak and that's completely fine. It's a comfortable silence for the both of us. Then, she starts to lean forward and lands right on my skinny and most likely uncomfortable chest. I give a little nose exhale and smile at her.
"You good?" I ask, still smiling at her hair as her face is buried in my chest at the current moment. I hear a little "mmhmmm" come up from her and I decide to just leave her there. She seems content with where she is at the moment.
After a few minutes, she gets up and starts to pack up her things. Knowing what she is doing, I do the same. When we are done packing everything up, we look at each other, join hands and walk away.
We walk further into the woods and continue to hold hands proudly as we did back at the hospital. I have no clue where we're going but, I'm sure it's going to be fantastic with her.
"Hey, so, I have a place we can go where no one will know we're there. Sound good, runner?" she says after minutes of walking away from where we slept. I start trying to think of possible places we could go but, I can't as I don't know much about the area. I nod my head, looking at her to see her already staring at me, surprisingly. We continue walking until we arrive at a motel.Hey guys! Long time no see? Does anyone still read this? I doubt it tbh. But, uh, yeah. this is all I got cause I'm a horrible author and I'm not consistent with my stuff in the least. I'm sorry guys. I hope you like it.
