Days went by.

Days turned into weeks.

Weeks turned into months.

Zico had only seen Yoko once since she admitted her feelings. That was one week ago. She had stopped by after a whole month of completely ignoring him to pack up her things.

"I'm moving out." Were the only words she had said to him. He flipped through the pages of his new comp book, half the pages already filled with lyrics.

We used to laugh we used to smile. I used to see you everyday what did I do? What did we do? What can I do to save us from this pot we're falling down man I can't take it. I miss you. I didn't realize until now.

Were some of the lyrics he had feverishly wrote down after she had left that one day. He hasn't seen or heard from her since.

Bzzzt. Bzzzt.

He picked up his phone.

Bzzzt. Bzzzt.

Incoming call from Yoko

A picture of her and him dressed up for some party popped up on his screen. He stared at her face. He noticed the dimple on her right cheek. Was it always there before? He also noticed the way she was looking at him.

"Hello?"

"Can we meet?"

****

She checked her wrist watch. She let out a deep breath and looked around. The park was empty for the most part, despite the few couples that were here and there. She always looked at them with envy, wanting to be like them and spend the day with a special person.

"Yoko." Her attention was averted to Zico, who now stood in front of her. She stood and bowed. He stared at her, all kinds of emotions flashing over his face.

"Ji Ho I–" she stopped when his arms wrapped around her. He rested his head on her shoulder, taking in deep breaths.

"Do you know how much I missed you in this past month?"

"Ji Ho–"

"I didn't have anyone to tease me. To wake me up with Justin Bieber. To defend SHINee. To call me Princess, or a Pig, or even a Princess Pig. I didn't even have anyone to write lyrics with."

She gulped, standing there as he continued to embrace her.

"Yoko move back in."

"I...I can't."

"Why not?" He pulled away, his face only a few centimeters way from hers.

There were tears glistening in her eyes. Her lower lip quivered. "I really hate you right now."

"Yoko..."

"I'm moving back to Japan. And here you are making me like you more and more!" She cried. He embraced her again, stroking her hair as she pounded weakly on his chest. She wailed and sobbed, feeling defeated and confused.

"Don't...don't go."

"Don't say that." She sniffled as they pulled away. He held her by her shoulders.

"Seriously, Yoko. Don't go."

"What's the point? You don't like me back. Do you know how embarrassing it is to stay here? The whole reason why I came here is because of you."

"Yoko."

"Jinja, you're really something Ji Ho–"

He pressed her lips against hers, catching her by surprise. Her eyes widened and she stood, completely still.

Ji Ho....I really hate you, she thought.
