(My drawing, above)
---I never knew my summer could be this unexpected until this happened...
*Your POV*
"Y/n, can you please pass the sunblock cream here?" Your mother ordered you from a distance.
You rolled your eyes as you dropped the book on the mat --the book you only had as a companion for the past hours gone with your family at the beach, you sluggishly took the lotion from her bag at your cottage.
On your way to your mom's place, you were hit by a volleyball at your shoulder but none of the players had apologized to you. Again, you rolled eyes then you quickly gave the lotion to your mom. You came back to your place only to see your things scattered. You're lost at what page you were reading.
You looked everywhere until you saw your little brother laughing hysterically at the corner but you couldn't mock him as he was beside your father at the grilling barbeques.
"Seriously? How could this summer be more fun?" You asked yourself, teeth was gritting in agitation.
The sun was blasting out of the sky, the waves was in heat that you decided not to swim because you don't want your skin to get so tanned. It was so hot so as your head.
"This is the worst summer!" You whined kicking the mat.
With that, you walked out along the seashore without your parent's permission. You felt the white sand on your feet tickling you. Then at the place you were at, you saw many kids playing sandcastles, girl squads braiding their hair and other families that's happiness was visible to their faces as they swim on the beach.
Somewhat you felt jealous because you are not in that kind of situation right now.
Tall coconut trees and birds flying surprises you when you looked up but you got more surprised at the woman you bumped on the shoulder.
"I'm sorry!" You both said in unison. Her voice was in high tone and soothing in your ears it's like you
You looked down to her, examining her features but you failed as the big damn sunglasses was blocking her eyes same as the scarf that was covering almost of her face. She was blonde and had a tan skin. But you were puzzed as she was reminded you of someone.
She lowered her head even more trying to look so afraid of you but you smiled. You thought she looked so cute even though you can't see her whole face. Somehow you wanted to meet a new friend at here. Why not, make the most out of it?
"Are you fine?" You asked in a friendly way but she turned her head away from you.
How disgraceful.
You thought about her sudden attitude.
When she was a little far, she turned her head to you and removed her scarf as she flashes you the most adorable smile you've ever seen. Your heart skipped a beat as you recognized that smile. The smile which clearly belongs to the person..
who made you smile too,
who made you forget your problems for a while,
who made you happy when alone.
And that person is the Ariana Grande.
It was like a deja vu of your undying dreams in every slumber.
When you snapped out of your thoughts, you tried to reach for her but she disappeared in the sea of people.
You broke down, suddenly losing the chance of finally meeting your idol. Sadly, you just came back to your worried parents. Wishing you wouldn't get killed.
