I got home that day and put on my pajamas, like Ryder said to do. Today was my date with Ryder. He offered to go to the movies but I immediately denied, my memories of Rory will not ruin this date for me. Ryder told me that he'd be at my house at 7 p.m. My mom wasn't going to be home till late, but I wasn't planning on doing any funny business. Just like he said, the door rang right at 7 p.m. at least he wasn't late. I opened the door and he was dressed in a jurassic park T-shirt and sweat pants. He had pizza and soda in one hand and then a bunch of movies in another hand.
R: Hey. I brought pizza!
A: Wow, you didn't have to do that.
R: Nonsense, I wanted too. So, I heard you are into Jurassic park.
A: I love those movies!
R: Well I brought all 3, along with The Amazing Spiderman and The Amazing Spiderman 2!
A: *smile* So what is this date?
R: Movie marathon and junk food!!!
A: Best night ever!!!
We sat on my bed and he put in the movie on my computer. Jurassic park was the first one we watched. I forgot the jumpscares in the movie and I clinged to him whenever a raptor popped out of nowhere. Halfway during the movie, I got tired and rested my head on his chest. He immediately put his arm around me and we cuddled for the rest of the movie as we ate pizza and drank soda. At some point I must have dozed off because I woke up laying down in Ryder's arms as Jurassic Park 3 was playing. It was about halfway through when I woke up. I checked the time, 12:46 p.m.  Holy shit, my mom is home! I snapped up which caused Ryder to wake up as well.
R: What?!
A: Shhhh! My mom is home.
R: Does she not know I'm here?
A: She knew you were coming over, but I don't know if she knew you were staying this long.
R: Why? What time is it? *looks at clock* Oh wow.
A: Ya.....
R: Well I don't mind, it was nice falling asleep with you.
A: *smiles and blushes*
R: *smiles*
A: I need to go check where she is. *gets up*
R: But we haven't even made it to spiderman.
A: I'll be back in a sec, don't worry.
R: *smiles* Ok.
I walked out of my room and into the dark hallway. There I saw my mom, on the couch, drinking coffee.
M: You're finally up.
A: *sighs* I'm sorry mom. I never intended for him to stay this long.
M: Honey, when I walked in there, I heard a movie playing and then I opened the door to you laying down with him, asleep. I looked closer, praying that you weren't naked. When I saw that you had clothes on, I was so relieved.
A: *sits down* Mom, I would never do that. I'm not even ready for that and I know the dangers.
M: Good.
A: He's a really nice guy mom and I really like him.
M: I know sweetheart, just don't rush things, please.
A: Pinky swear. *raises pinky*
Mom lifted her pinky up and we locked them. She told me to tell him one more movie then out. I walked back in there as I saw Ryder cleaning up our cups and taking out the movie.
A: Hey.
R: Does she want me gone?
A: One more movie.
R: *smiles* Alright, so which one. *holds up the amazing spiderman and amazing spiderman 2*
A: Actually, is it ok if I pick one of my movies?
R: Ya, sure.
I shuffled through a small bin of movies I had. I picked out my all time favorite, The Breakfast Club. I showed it to Ryder and he approved. I put it in the my laptop and we sat down on the bed. He put his arm around me and I leaned into his chest. During the movie, he kept looking at me instead of the movie. I would glance over to him, but he'd just look back at the movie.
Ryder's POV
I kept looking at Arica through the whole movie. She probably thought I was crazy, but I couldn't help it! She's beautiful! She finally caught me in the act though.
A: Why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?
R: Only beauty. *laughs*
A: *laughs* Wow.
R: Seriously though, you're beautiful.
A: *laughs* You must be blind, I'm nowhere near beautiful.
R: *moves closer to her face* No I don't think so, everything from your nose to your eyes are beautiful.
A: *blushes and smiles*
I suddenly had the urge to kiss her, but how would I do it? I mean she could just back away and tell me to leave, but then again, this is a date. I moved closer to her and looked strait into her eyes. She looked at mine as our noses practically touched. I finally broke the space between us and pressed my lips on hers. I could feel her cheeks heating up as the kiss went deeper. After about 30 seconds, she broke apart to take a breathe. We rested our foreheads together as she smiled. She placed her hand on my chest, which sent sparks down my spine. Only she made me feel this way, not even the kiss me and Marley shared made me feel like this. Sure there were sparks, but there were fireworks with Arica.
Arica's POV
He kissed me for like a strait minute. I was running out of breath, but I didn't care. The way I feel about him is stronger than I've ever felt about a guy. I thought it was only a crush, but it was definitely more. I finally broke the kiss to take a breath. I laid my hand on his muscular chest and felt his heartbeat. It was beating super fast, I could tell he felt the same way. I looked up at him to find that he was already staring at me. He smiled and I smiled back.
R: Arica, I can't even explain how awesome that felt.
A: *laughs*
I saw the credits out of the corner of my eye and I knew it was time for him to go, sadly.
A: The movies over *looks down*
R: Oh, well I'll see you on Monday in glee club and I'll text you strait when I get home.
A: *smiles* Ok.
He got his stuff and headed for the door. My mom wasn't in the living room anymore, so I guess she went to bed. Ryder was at the door and he turned around.
A: What is it?
R: I forgot something.
A: What is it?
R: This.
He grabbed my face and kissed me one last time. My heart fluttered as I put my hands on his arms. He let go and turned around.
R: See you on Monday.
A: Bye. *blushes*

Once I closed the door, mom came out with a huge smile on her face.
A: I thought you were asleep.
M: Arica Dayton! That was the most passionate kiss I've ever seen!
A: Mom! Ok it was awesome!!!
M: He's definitely a keeper.
A: *laughs*
