“You ready to go to class?” Peter asked.
“Yup, ready as ever. Remember we have therapy tomorrow at 2:00 okay,” I reminded.
“Yeah, I know. Plus, I’m going to your classes with you, I am not leaving you…and I also-“
“Don’t want to be alone, I know,” I smiled.
“You ate, right?” Peter asked.
“Yeah…like the two yogurts…” I said looking down.
“Was it like this after me and you ex? Not eating? I mean, I know you have an eating disorder but, did it get bad after us?” Peter asked.
“It got bad…mainly because of the ex, but I won’t lie, after you it was bad with restricting…again you and the ex a deadly combination. But I will eat,” I said.
“Okay, because we have psych, and then right after we have math. I can run across the street and get you like some bananas to hold you over until we get dinner,” Peter said.
“Sounds fine,” I said.
“Cool, you have everything you need?”
“Dude, all I need today is a notebook, then later tomorrow we will get the textbooks I need,” I said.
“Okay, just making sure,” Peter smiled awkwardly, which was strange for him, because he is extremely confident and for him to be nervous or something was very out of character.
Arriving to the building that held two of my classes, we got out. I was extremely excited for Psychology because I had the same professor I had for my first Psychology class last year. Walking in, I sat front and center as always. Peter sat to my right. Mr. U walked in with his teacup and favorite pen. He was getting organized as he said hello to the class. He spotted me and smiled. There was a knock on the door and it was the officer for my case.
“Hello professor, I need a word with you, Anna and Peter,” the officer said.
Peter and I got up and walked out the door followed by Mr. U.
“How can I help you?” Mr. U asked confused by a policeman’s presence.
“Anna, here was sexually assaulted and Peter here saved her. We have recently found evidence to suggest that her assaulter is The Virginity Killer,” the officer said quietly.
“I am sorry, what?” I asked.
“Aaron, he is a wanted serial killer, you are lucky to be alive,” the officer stated.
“Peter, this is what your father told you wasn’t it!” I hissed.
“Yeah, but I couldn’t say anything legally,” Peter said.
“So, what is going on then?” Mr. U asked.
“A policeman is to be outside Anna’s classroom at all times and Peter here, is to stay with her. He graduated last year, but I have orders that allow him to sit in her classes,” the officer explained.
“Okay, thank you,” Mr. U said, “Anna, I will give you a minute,” Mr. U said then walked into class.
“How dare you not tell me!” I growled.
“Anna I couldn’t say anything. I wanted to though,” Peter said.
“I want to know everything about him, Aaron. I want to know about his kills, his life, everything you have on him,” I said.
“I don’t have the authority to-“
“I have the authority to. My father, he is the one leading this case. It’s his case, and I will get you what I can,” Peter assured.
