"So, you're supposed to buy these sandwich for the club members?" I asked, staring at the plastic that contained the said sandwich.
"Yes." Kuroko nodded.
I remained silent and listened to their conversation. I kind of found it weird to see Kuroko and Kagami argue like little kids. Kuroko was never like this back in Teiko. Well... somehow he is.. but there's just something different. I guess that even he changed... somehow. But knowing him, he's still the same Kuroko who I would mostly spend my whole day with.
"So, Miyuki-san, you came from America, too?" Fukuda asked.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah." I nodded.
"Is there any reason you moved back to Japan?" Furihata asked.
I tilted my head and furrowed my eyebrows, a memory flashing through my brain. "Well... I... In the first place, I never intended to go out of Japan. Due to our business expanding in America and Europe, I was forced to go to Europe." I explained.
Then Kuroko pointed to the red haired man. "How did you know Kagami-kun, Yuki-chan?" He asked.
"Huh? Oh, him. Let's see..." I mumbled, racking my brain for that certain memory. "I was in America for a while until my dad woke up from a coma. It was at least half a year when I stayed in America. After that. I went to England and studied there." I tapped my chin trying to remember something. "Though I don't really remember when I actually saw him since I would visit my parents in America once in a while, when I have the time or when it is simply needed."
"Were you influenced by them to talk to us using our first names?"
"No, she wasn't. Yuki-chan is always like that." Kuroko said, pointing to me.
My eye twitched, sensing some kind of insult to his words. "Why do I feel like that was some kind of insult..." I mumbled.
"You must be imagining things, Yuki-chan." Kuroko said.
I kept on staring at his blank face all the while walking to our destination. Once arriving, I noticed just then that we were in the rooftop. I looked in front and saw a girl with what I presume are the second year players of the basketball club. My eyes widened at the thought that this was probably some sort of initiation or something seeing that it was only the first years were the only ones who bought the sandwich. I quickly hid my presence like how Kuroko does, except he naturally has a weak aura. I quietly walked behind them and watched the scene unfold and waited for them to finish before introducing myself.
They went towards the waiting team and handed the plastic bag to them, saying "We bought them."
The girl thanked them and suddenly handed out juice for them. We were dumbfounded... well, I think I was the only one, but they certainly did not expect that. It turns out that the upperclassmen would just give the bread to them. They all took turns eating. First was Kuroko. Once Kuroko took a bite, I was curious what his reaction was. To my surprise, he was happy! Happier than all the times I've seen him! His face looked so relaxed.
"U-uwahh...!!" With eyes wide, I couldn't help but feel awed at his expression. "You look so happy, Tetsuya!" I exclaimed.
The others soon ate after him, and miraculously, their once poor, bruised up and beaten down look regained to the healthy and refreshing look. I was surprised, to be honest. I turned to look at Kagami and saw that he was eating a really long burger. I was about to turn to Kuroko when a voice caught my attention.
