Finally. After a few days of training, May 16 arrived. Today is the fight with Shinkyo.
"The gang's all here." Aida said. Followed by Hyuuga's "Let's go!", we walked towards the gymnasium.
I looked around and noticed that Kagami's eyes were bloodshot. A sweat dropped as I looked at him weirdly. "Hey, what's wrong with your eyes?" I asked.
Kuroko, who was beside me, looked at Kagami and noticed it too. "You couldn't sleep, again?"
Kagami didn't even bother to answer and just said, "Urusai." which I found quite rude since I was asking properly here.
"Wow, what amazing answer. An answer fit for a beauty queen, or better yet, A Miss Universe." I rolled my eyes.
He just glared at me as we continued our way to the designated place. We placed our bags on the bench and went to the court to practice a bit and some warm-ups. I wore a jersey that has the number 14 underneath a hoodie. I stayed in the benches and tied my hair up. Aida looked at me.
"Hm? You're not gonna play, Yuki-chan?" She asked.
"What? Of course I am. But... I think it's best if they played first. Let's just say I'm sort of like a trump card. And besides, I don't think you'd need me in this match. This'll be a breeze. Trust me." I winked at her as I gave her a thumbs up.
"Well, you said you were allowed to play, right?" Aida asked and I nodded.
"Yup! They had no choice." I smiled happily as I remembered that moment they all said yes. I hummed happily as I watched the team, slightly swaying from side-to-side.
"W-well, as long as you're not going to jail with what you did."
"Of course not! Even if I do go to jail, no jail would ever keep this awesomest girl locked up." I laughed.
"I don't think awesomest is a word..." Aida mumbled.
I looked back at the team as Aida just stared weirdly at me as she mumbled "Now I'm scared to know just what you did and are capable of..." while I watched the team. Hyuuga seems to be searching for Papa Mba-shit. I looked around and noticed that he wasn't here.
Just when I looked at the entrance, a tall, skinny dude hit his head on the door frame. "Ouch." His voice... sucks.
"Wow, and here I thought he couldn't be more dumber than I thought." I snorted as I watched him.
"Everything is so small in Japan." He grumbled, rubbing his forehead.
A tick mark appeared on my forehead. "Why you...!" I stood up and went to the court beside Hyuuga.
"O-oi! Where do you think you're going!?" I heard the distant voice of Aida calling me.
"Hey, Junpei-senpai..." I called out to him, tugging at the hem of his shirt.
"Huh?" He looked down at me and saw the threatening aura enveloping me. He flinched and dropped the ball. "Ah..!" He jogged to catch up to the ball.
"Yuki-chan, calm down." Kuroko appeared beside me, placing his hand on my shoulder.
"I can't..." I gritted my teeth as I spoke. "He just insulted me... indirectly!" I pointed angrily at Papa Mba-shit.
