Dust

The beginning of nothing

The sound of the alarm clock blaring into my ears to wake me from my slumber and attempted to turn the alarm of but fail so it gets thrown across the room and got smashed into hundred little pieces. I sit up yawning and my arms extended to stretch . I sit there a few minutes looking up at the ceiling as the light from out side shines through the window. As a few minutes pass by I designed to get up and get dressed and head down stairs. When I reach bottom of the steps a fork flys past my face only a few inches from hitting me as it hits a bird that's perched on the window above the sink as I turn my head to see who threw it and seen my friend sence I was a young child, Ruby was her name , "where u trying to hit me or the bird?" I ask as I turn to her with my arms folded " my bad "she grins as she grabs another fork and started eating whatever she cooked "I was trying to hit you but the bird got in the way "she joked as she continues to stuff her face full of food. "So..how did you get in my house any way "I glare down at her as she responded"your door wasn't locked " she laugh "you need to lock your door Dust ..if you don't u might get robbed by some one" I shoke my head and grin up at her " like who? You ? " we both laughed at my little joke some right before she responsed " maybe" I looked over at her and grined " what ever " I sat down into a old wooden chair that's siting right beside the table and listening to the silence for a few minutes as Ruby brakes it " there was another attack from that one group,what was there name again? " I looked at her and paused for a few seconds as I look out the window " umm..I believe there called the Wight fang " Ruby look at me before she spoked again,"would you like to come with to the place they attacked?" Ruby asked as the walks around the room as I stand up and grabs my syth that can retract into something smaller so it could be easier to carry around as I attached it to my back "let's get going than"I smile and headed out the door with Ruby and climb up a nearby ladder to the roof tops . As I reach the top of the ladder I looked over the roofs of the buildings and houses seeing the birds fly by and the blue sky and gave Rube a hand to help her up from the ladder as we both look at the wall at the marks the end of  Haven as I see smoke comeing up near by "I'm guessing it happen there "I pointed at the smoke as I look over at Ruby as she nods her head and began to walk twords to smoke across the rooftops.
