The endless sky was occupied with neon blue comets and meteorites as large as buses, desperately dashing across the midnight blue sea of stars. The desolate wasteland that had once been bursting with bright electrical city lights; crowded with noise and life was now cluttered with debris from the mangled spacecraft. The only sound that could be received was the gentle trickle of oil escaping from the scuffed, tin robots head. There remained no life above the rickety surface of Earth... excluding that of the lonesome space traveller.
The golden sun was creeping up from beyond the jagged horizon and sent powerful rays of warm, gleaming bright light soaring across the forsaken landscape.
As the space traveller gained consciousness the bleak landscape shook violently like an earthquake. The daily reminder that two planets were progressively tearing each other apart. Colliding, crumbling and conjoining into one singular mass of rock and bubbling lava as fierce as death itself. He shakily scrambled to his feet. The traveller's blonde, wavy hair fluttered in the gentle breeze. His traumatised dark blue eyes reflected the newfound existence of the expansive planet he had once called home. His tatty jeans were torn at the knees, revealing bare, split open wounds. The once spotless red hoodie now looked like an ancient remnant from a past civilisation, dust and blood splattered down it's faded front. The boy from the past was frozen in fear: horrific memories shooting back like torpedoes into his mind.
