She ran away
When I brought her back, she was not quite gay
It was hard to keep her at bay
For she was one to always stray
She ran away again
I searched for her in vain
And what she did restrained
Left her feeling drained
Then the unspeakable came
And to my shame
I became
One who could die in flame
When I saw her face
Her beautiful moving grace
I felt the need to end her race
And have her join me in her rightful place
Of course she failed
To think I’d be frail
For when she impaled
My heart, her noble intentions by love was, curtailed
I came back to her
It was all but a blur
Her love I preferred
Another, angry and jealous, was spurred
