Once upon a time, there was a pilot named by the charming name of Daciel. Not Dashiell, not Dachel. DACIEL. His parents hadn't made a wrong choice for his name, considering that he was a pilot and worked in the sky: "ciel".
He was, in addition to being a pilot, the owner of an airline company named... Daciel Airlines. He had been educated in a bilingual way and spoke English, French, and Ukrainian. He loved the language with its sharp accents.
One single aircraft was flown by him: his own. It was named The Train, or Le Train as he liked to call it, because Daciel also had a passion for trains. He knew how to recognize individual trains by only hearing their sound and he knew all serial numbers by heart. Some called him crazy, but he considered himself fully normal. "I'm completely in my senses! The others are the ones that are crazy!" Considering that's what insane people always say, I wouldn't recommend believing him.
In addition to loving Ukrainian, planes, and trains, Daciel was completely obsessed by the piano; he even decided to change the control system of his aircraft to a MIDI keyboard with which he could fly the plane.
His favourite composer being Bach, for accelerating one had to play one of his compositions; for going slowly, one had to play Mozart; to gain height, Chopin, and to lose altitude, Debussy. They were his four favourite composers. Sometimes, for example if he wanted to lose altitude rapidly, he had to play Bach with one hand and Debussy with the other. Some thought it was too difficult when he allowed them to try it out, but he had practiced a lot and was now good at controlling his aircraft.
While being passionate, Daciel was also someone that was creative, naive, slightly idiotic, and of course clumsy. These characteristics made him live through all sorts of adventures. Those are the ones that are going to be told in this book.
