It All Started When I Caught a Glance of a Popstar...

Bonding

I flutter my eyes open and look around.I realize that my head is on Louis' chest.I quickly sit up and look around.

I quietly get up and grab my phone.It's 5:06.I hear some moving around in the kitchen.I quietly walk over and peek around the doorway and see that it's only Niall.

I sigh im relief and walk into the kitchen."Morning Nialler." I say quietly.

"Morning Kris.Want some breakfast?" Niall asks smiling.

"Kris?" I ask.

"It's a nickname I came up with for you...if that's okay.I can call you Kristen if you want me to." Niall says.

"No.I like it.It's a cool nickname." I say smiling.Niall's face lights up and he smiles back.

"Okay.Are you hungry?" Niall asks.

"Yeah.What ya got?" I ask.

"Froot Loops,Frosted Flakes,Cinnamon Toast Crunch,Oatmeal,Cream of Wheat,Pop Tarts..." Niall says.

"Ooh.Pop Tarts sound good." I say smiling.

"What flavor?" Niall asks.

"Do you have cookie dough flavored?" I ask.

"Yeah!You like cookie dough too?It's my favorite." Niall says popping two pop tarts into the toaster.

"They're my favorite too!" I say high-fiving Niall.We chuckle and sit there in silence.Then the pop tarts pop out of the toaster,causing Niall to jump and fall over his own feet.

I laugh and Niall's cheeks turn a little red,then he starts laughing too.

"Here,let me help you up." I say chuckling.Then Niall grabs my hand and I pull him up.

"Wow.You're pretty strong for a

girl." Niall says.I shrug and sit back down on the barstool.Niall puts the pop tarts on paper towels and hands one to me.

"Thanks Nialler." I say smiling.

"No prob.Wanna go watch the sun rise?" Niall asks.I nod and get up to follow him.We go out onto the front patio and Niall sits down in a chair and motions for me to sit in the one next to him.

I sit down and take a bite out of the pop tart.I smile in satisfcaction.I catch Niall staring at me with a soft smile in the corner of my eye.That's almost the same way Harry was looking at me...

"Take a picture,It'll last longer." I say smirking at Niall.His cheeks turn red and he takes another bite out of his pop tart.

"I'll be right back." I say getting up and putting the last bite of my pop tart into my mouth.I run in and throw away the paper towel,and grab the guitar on the way out.

I sit back down in the chair next to Niall,and start strumming the strings.I start singing Marry You by Bruno Mars.

Niall starts singing along and I look over at him and our eyes meet.Our voices automatically harmonize when our eyes lock.We smile and sing the whole song.

I look away when the song is over and see the sun starting to rise."It's beautiful." I say smiling."Yeah.See what I see every morning that I get up early?" Niall says.I nod without looking away from the sunrise.

I look down at the guitar and start strumming the strings again.I smile and start singing Skyscraper by Demi Lovato.

When I get done singing,I set the guitar down and look up at the sunrise.I catch Niall looking at me the way he was earlier.I think for a minute.I have seen movies kinda like this.

The guy that likes the girl looks at her the way Niall is looking at me.Then a wave of realization hits me.When a guy looks at a girl like that when she isn't looking...he's lovestruck.

"Uh...Niall?" I say without looking at him.He shakes his head as if he was zoned out."Yeah?" He asks without looking away."You're giving me that look again." I say looking at him.

"What look?" He asks.

"The one you were giving me

earlier." I say.

"Sorry." He says.

"It's okay.It's just...I have seen movies where this guy gives the girl that look...and that usually means the guy is in love with her.You're not in love with me...are you?" I ask looking at him.

"I...uh...um..." Niall says looking away.

"What is it?You can tell me." I say putting my hand on his arm for comfort.

"I have a g-girlfriend." Niall says.

I nod and smile."Ya know...you aren't really good at lying." I say.

Niall looks up at me."I know." he says nodding and looking down.

"You okay?" I ask.

"Yeah." Niall says without looking up.I could tell he was hiding something but I didn't wanna push him.

I get up and start walking across the yard."Where are you going?" Niall asks.Then I start singing "Best Song Ever" at the top of my lungs.

Niall smiles and hops up.We do the dance moves together.When we sing the whole song,we make eye contact and instantly start bursting out laughing.

"You know how to lighten the

mood." Niall says as we calm down.

"I try." I say shrugging.I sigh and walk back over and sit down in the chair.My phone starts ringing and I instantly answer it when I see it's mum.

"Hey mum." I say calmly.Niall runs over and sits in his chair as soon as I say it.

"S-sweetie.Your grandma isn't going to last very much longer...Maybe a day or two at the most...I won't be coming home anytime soon.I love you sweetie.I will call or text you later." My mom says through tears.

"Okay...I love you..." I say as a tear slips down my cheek.Then we hang up and that's when I start crying again.

I feel Niall's arms wrap around my shoulders and pull stand me up.

I wrap my arms around Niall.

He rubs circles on my back to comfort me.I cry for about thirty minutes and finally start to calm down.Niall keeps his arms around me and I keep mine around him.

After I am completely calmed down,we pull apart and sit back down in our chairs.I run my hands through my hair.

"What did your mum say?" Niall asks.

"She said that my grandma only has a day or two left." I say sniffling.

"Oh.You gonna be okay?" Niall asks.

"Honestly...I really don't know." I say.

"You can stay here...if you want." Niall says.

"Oh no...I couldn't.Look at what I've caused already." I say shaking my head.

"You haven't caused anything,Kristen.The boys and I love having you around." Niall says.

"You do?" I ask looking up at Niall causing our eyes to meet.

"Yes.You're a really cool person.And we've only known you for what?A day?" Niall says.I nod.

"I guess staying here for another day or two couldn't hurt." I say.Niall's face lights up.

I smile."There's that smile I've been waiting for." Niall says smiling.

"We better go in.The boys will be getting up soon.And to thank you guys,I'm gonna make breakfast." I say smiling.Niall nods and we get up and go inside.
