Alone... With Harry...

The next morning, I woke up still in Niall's comfortable bed. Niall and Harry were still cuddling with me, so I carefully sat up, trying not to wake up either of them. I looked at their faces. They looked so peaceful, so innocent. They were werewolves. I couldn't seem to be able to wrap my head around this.

Last night's events popped into my head. They told me they were werewolves. But they're not going to hurt me, right?

"Of course we're not going to hurt you Babe." I looked to my right and found Harry groggily sitting up. I looked at him confused. "You were thinking out loud, Love." I bit my lip and looked at my fiddling fingers, embarrassment spreading across my face. A deep rumbling escaped from his chest as he chuckled. "You're so adorable." He pecked my cheek, letting his lips linger there for a short moment. I looked into his green eyes. I could have sworn I saw something in them. Lustful, almost. He started to lean closer into me, his pink lips getting a lot closer to mine than I thought they would. I could feel his hot breath tickling my lips. Just as he was about to press his lips against mine, Niall started muttering in his sleep, completely ruining the moment.

"You guys are so loud." Niall mumbled next to us. We both looked at Niall, hoping he didn't see mine and Harry's almost intimate moment. When we realized he still had his eyes closed, Harry smirked. He started to lean in closer to me again. "I can hear your heavy breathing. Harry, stop trying to seduce the girl." Mine and Harry's faces flushed a deep red and Niall sat up. Niall smirked and shook his head. "And worst of all, it would have happened in my bed. My bed."

"Anyway." I said, trying to get off the topic I figured we would have come across sooner or later. "Do you guys eat like, regular food?" They both shook their heads.

"Food tastes like nothing to us, so we don't eat it. Well, your kind of food anyway. We-" Harry smacked Niall upside the head. I bit my lip in an effort to contain my laughter.

"Anyway, I think the other boys already made you breakfast." Harry said with a smirk. I looked at him, cocking my head a bit. He and Niall stood up, and pulled me off of the bed. They carried me down the stairs, Harry holding the top half of my body and Niall holding my legs. They set me down at the dining room table and set a plate filled with bacon, eggs, cinnamon buns, and a glass of orange juice. I looked at the plate, surprised they Liam, Louis, and Zayn put this together. The boys all sat around me without anything in front of them. I focused all of my attention on the delicious food I was about to stuff my face in, not realizing just how hungry I was.

After I finished breakfast, Harry decided to show me around the house. Liam and Louis, much to my protests, washed the dishes for me. I followed Harry, trying to keep up with his long strides.

"So, Megan, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?" I bit my lip, thinking.

"Well, um. I like to dance..." I trailed off, not really sure of what to say. When I looked at his face, I saw a little smirk forming, making the little dimples on each side of his face show effortlessly.

"Are you good? I do fancy a good show." He now had a cheeky smirk that seemed almost contagious. Before I knew it, I was smiling.

"I don't think so." I shrugged and Harry stopped, looking straight into my brown eyes.

"Are you good?" He asked, the smiling dropping from both of our faces.

"I dunno. I mean, I've been dancing for years, but I don't really know. My parents never came to see me dance..." My voice trailed off again as I stared at the floor, getting lost in a memory.

I was eight years old. It was my first dance recital. I had been waiting so long for this. All of the dancing and sweat I put into this. I was so excited. My parents had dropped me off because they didn't have to be at the performance for another hour and a half, since we had a quick rehearsal before the show. I met up with Kaitlin and we hugged briefly.

Before we knew it, it was show time and the curtains were about to be pulled back. Kaitlin and I exchanged glances one last time, and I could see the nervousness beginning to appear on her face. I took a deep breath and tried not to shake. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, the curtains were gone and the bright lights were shining on me, because I had the first dance solo. The music started, my body swaying a bit to the beat as I waited for the right count. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. My feet and my arms moved involuntarily, moving to the internalized dance I had practiced so many times. I finished my part and stepped aside in the back of the line we had formed. Kaitlin was next. I watched her gracious body move and hit each step perfectly on the beat.

After the other dancers went, it was time for the group portion of the show. I was in the front line, moving in perfect sync with everyone else.

At the end of the dance recital, I waited outside for my parents to show up after realizing that they hadn't seen my first performance. Kaitlin and her mom walked up to me.

"We'll take you home." Her mom insisted. I nodded and followed Kaitlin and her mom to their car. The second I arrived home I opened the door and slammed it shut. My Dad came running down the steps with guilt spread across his face. Tears were streaking down my face so fast there would have been puddles at my feet in a few minutes.

"I'm so sorry Baby Girl. Your mother had to go to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well." I looked up at him, and he stepped closer, wiping a few of the tears away. "Guess what?"

"What?"

"Mommy's having a baby." My jaw dropped.

"So you missed me dancing for a baby?! I don't like him already." I stomped off and slammed my bedroom door shut. I could hear a sigh from the  other side of my door. I cried myself to sleep that night.

"Megan, are you okay?" Harry asked, referring to the build-up of tears in my eyes. I nodded and sniffled. He pulled me into a tight, warm hug. "You can tell me anything, you know that, right?" I nodded and closed my eyes as my head rested against his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. It was racing, but I figured it was because he was a werewolf. When I realized it would seem awkward if we stayed like that any longer, I pulled away. Harry smiled and took my hand, leading me down a long hallway.

After the tour Harry gave me, we arrived in the living room. I had learned that the rest of the boys were at work, but someone had to stay behind for me on my first day on the 'job.' Of course it was Harry. I sighed and sat on the couch. Harry sat down next to me, his leg gently brushing mine and sending chills down it.

"So, what should we do?" Harry asked, looking straight at me.

"Shouldn't I start cleaning?" Suddenly he chuckled.

"There's nothing to clean yet, Babe." He leaned in closer and kissed my cheek. I blushed and hid my face in my hands. He chuckled, muttering something about me being 'cute.'

"Excuse me?" I said, raising an eyebrow towards him. He looked into my eyes, studying them.

"What?"

"What did you just mutter?" He bit his bottom lip.

"I said that you were cute." I shook my head. "Before you deny it, you are cute." He scooted closer to me.

"No, I'm really not."

"Yes, you really are." I shook my head. "Fine, want me to prove it to you?" I raised my brow again. Before I realized what was happening, he leaned even closer until our lips brushed. He put a finger underneath my chin, pulling my lips to his in a soft kiss just after my eyelids fluttered closed. Our lips moved in sync, that is, until we heard gasps erupt from somewhere in the room. We pulled apart from the kiss and found everyone but Niall looking at us with wide eyes.

"Totally saw it coming." Niall smirked. Harry and I jumped to the opposite ends of the couch, both of us blushing furiously.

"Y-You're back already?" I stammered. Liam nodded and I looked at my watch. Two hours?! Wow. Time flies. I looked at Harry, who was smiling like an idiot and biting his bottom lip. "I'll be in my room, if you need me..." I said awkwardly and rising from the couch.

"M-me too... But you know... not in the same... room.." Harry followed suit and we quitely shut our doors.
