''3...2....1...!! YAAAYY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!'' They all wooed.
Wow.. New year huh? Doesn't feel like it at all. I feel like there's something missing.. OH yeah? My wife.. What else. How can I possibly not think about my wife, when all I have is her.. Okay maybe not all, but still. You know what I mean. Not trying to sound cheesy but god.. Where are you Andrea.
''Hey guys'' mom spoon-tapped a glass to get peoples attention. As she got our attention she started speaking. ''Soooo happy new year! Hope you're all enjoying your time here. So tonight we have a special performance. Shawn will be performing one of his songs for us'' She smiled and waved her hand at shawn, so he got up to the small stage.
''Hey guys, nice to finally meet you all again'' Shawn says, as we gather around to watch his performance. He starts to finger play his guitar and look down to tune it. ''So....'' He looks up and accidentally got eye contact with Sam. But instantly look away. ''What song do you guys wanna hear? Your choice'' he smiles to the audience.

''Nono The weight!'' Different answers from our small cousins across the room, but then I had this amazing idea.
I took one of the microphones and silently said, ''Why don't you sing your new song? It's just been released, hasn't it? What's it called.. Umm.. I Know What You Did Last Summer?'' I smiled but it slowly fades when he stopped and stared at me.
''No.'' He states. ''I don't think people would like to-'' Before he could finish his sentence, he got cut off.
