Hey everyone! Don't forget to comment, vote, and follow! I would love to hear what you think...
Oh! and I'm thinking about maybe a cast... who should i add?

"Melody! You're going to be late!" Uncle Dan shouted up to my room.
I shouted downstairs telling him I would be ready soon. "For Neptune's sake! Can't a girl get ready in peace?" ( I should probably mention my interest in Greek and Roman mythology.) "I'll be down soon!"
"Melody, It's your first day of school. Your brother is already down here! I can't take you if you miss the bus."
"I know Uncle Dan! I'm almost ready!" I had just gone shopping for new school clothes and was having a hard time deciding what to wear. Finally, after about ten outfits (maybe more), I found the perfect one; a flowing red and yellow dress with my usual brown leather cut-off jacket. It went perfectly with my light complexion and bright red hair! Now, when I say "red" i don't mean that light gold color or whatever it is! i mean red; firetruck, sports car, crimson red! i dyed it a few years back and the "temporary" style just kind of stuck. All my friends loved it! They they stopped calling me Mel and started calling me Little Red.
When I still lived in PA I wouldn't say that i was popular, but I had friends from all different groups. Some were band geeks, others were choir kids, and many were drama nerds too. I loved playing the piano and keyboard for the band. They even pulled me along during parades! I was also a cheerleader... captain and all! My mom signed me up when i was little and made me stick with it.
It was also my mom's idea to introduce Matt to baseball. He was good, too good. It really kind of ruined him!
Oh! I forgot to mention, Matt and I are twins. He and I are nothing alike! For one thing, Matt is tall and extremely built. He has dark hair and he is always quite tan. His eyes are so dark that they look almost black. i on the other hand, am pretty short. I have extremely light blue eyes and originally had hair so blond it could have been white. But, even though we don't look alike, don't have the same interests, and definitely don't hang out at school, he really is my best friend. Matt and I tell each other everything! He was the only person I could talk to about losing mom...

When Matt and I finally got to the bus stop after a long gruelling breakfast with Uncle Dan (who practically pushed us out the door), Matt started asking me some questions.
"So do you think that Dinverso Academy will have a baseball team? i hope it does..." he rang his hands together. He looked nervous! Matt is never nervous! He was still talking... "I wouldn't be able to imagine high school without it. It's such a big part of my life! I hope I make the team."
" I don't know, Matt! I mean i'm not an expert on the place! And gods! someone seems squeamish!"
"Yeah... Sorry. I'm just a little bit nervous to be starting new."
"What do you mean? Everyone loved you back home! You were the first sophomore to be captain of the varsity baseball team! Hell, you were the first sophomore to be ON the varsity baseball team!" I was always impressed with his skills as an athlete (and his skills at making friends!), "You had so many friends and you got amazing grades. What would you want to change?"
"I don't know, just who liked me or what they liked me for, I guess. They only were my friends because I was so good at baseball."
"Oh, I get it." I thought about how everyone swarmed him after he became captain.
After a few more minutes of talking and getting excited for the new school year, the bus came and I took my first steps towards a new school year.
