I quickly ran down stairs along with mom to see Ariel trapped in her Ex boyfriends grip. Trey was on his back trying to loosen his grip on Ariel. The way he was holding her would be cute any other time, he had his arms wrapped around her neck as if hugging her from behind except he was doing it to choke her. I ran over to them while Ariel's mom went to call the police. I got behind the guy, same guy at the party, and kicked the back of his knee in to make him fall back. Ariel and Trey fell with him but they were ok. He loosened his grip and Ariel got out of his headlock and got on top of him since he was now on the ground. He was a big dude so I needed some help. Ariel held him down while I repeatedly punched him until I saw blood drip from his eyebrow and nose. I stopped but then saw him move I blacked out and kept punching and kicking him till he was unconscious.
"ANIYA!!, STOP , PLEASE!" Ariel was screaming at me.
" You a lil punk ass bitch" I yelled at his still body "Comin in here and putting ya hands on my girl! Don't you EVER come near her again" I said before kicking him one last time before going back upstairs into Ariels bathroom.
"Shit" I mumbled as I looked at my bloody knuckles. I turned on the water and rinsed them off before walking back down stairs.
"And this is your ex boyfriend?" my mom questioned Ariel taking notes, since she was a police officer.
"Yeah" Ariel said looking to me.
"Ok and explain what happened" my mom asked Ariel while looking up at me with disappointment. Ariel got through with questioning and we went to her room and talked.
I sat on the bed and she sat facing me.
"Niya" she rubbed my shoulder. "Thank you for saving my life."
I looked up teary eyed. "Ariel, I think....I think" I was tempted to tell her I love her but I'm not to sure yet so I stopped. A tear dropped from my eye.
"Aniya." she wiped away the tear while looking me in my eyes and then kissed me. The kiss was so passionate. I NEVER feel this way when I kiss Alexia. My stomach was turning, my mind went blank, and sparks were flying. I got on top of her, not breaking the kiss, so that we were laying down. We continued to kiss for about 7 minutes before someone busted in the room.
"I thought i'd find you in here" said my moms voice as I quickly got off of Ariel. My mom glared at Ariel. " Aniya come with me, we're going home" my mom said walking out.

My mom and I walked in the house. She didn't talk to me the whole walk back.
"Ma....." I said quietly cause I knew what this conversation was about to consist of.
"ANIYA WHEN WERE YOU GONNA SAY SOMETHING!" my mom yelled teary eyed.
"Mom... I didn't want you to be disappointed at the fact that I'm gay, you know with you being all christian and everything I thought you would disown me...." I said looking down.
"Your my daughter Aniya! Im going to love you unconditionally. And yes you are sinning but who doesn't god still loves you and so do I . My plan wasn't for you to be gay Aniya" my mom was now crying.
"I tried to stop it , I really did."
"Mom its okay" I was now crying.
"I knew you were gay since you were 4 when you said you wanted to marry a girl and when I started to see you grow into it I got concerned. I didn't want to be looked at as a failure of a parent because my child is homosexual."
"Mom your not a failure, I'm a great person and that's all because of you, you showed me how to love , you showed me how to be kind, you taught me everything I know and I love you and I didn't tell you cause I didn't want to lose you" I said while hugging my mom tightly.
My mom held my shoulders to look at me. "I love you Aniya. No matter what and I'm sorry I gave the impression that I wouldn't love you just as much as I do if I found out you were gay." she kissed my forehead.
"And no I don't agree with it but I will 100% support whatever makes you happy." my mom smiled.
"Thanks mom" I smiled.
" so when did you start dating girls?" my mom asked. Here comes the 1 million questions *rolls eyes*
" um a couple months ago when school started..." I didn't want to tell her about Lex but we talked all night about when I found out I was gay and she shared her thoughts, both positive and negative, and so did I. I told her me and Ariel were dating even though were not, I just needed something to say. Tbh she took it wayyyy better than I thought she was . I thought she was gonna kick me out or something but it went ok. She told me she was at the scene already when I yelled at Ariels ex about being my girl and that's how she figured it out along with other clues. Oh yeah and about Ariel..... *blushes* that kiss was amazing, it made me feel so alive and I loved it but me and her will talk about it at school on Monday.
