Prom Embarrassment

"H-H-Hi.. (Y/N)" Marcel stammers.

'Hi, Marcel' you said, sounding bored

He looked nervous. "Ummm (Y/N) would you go to prom with me?"

You look at him. His eyes filled with hope.

He's too nerdy for you, and you know it.

"No, Marcel" you said firmly.

The glimmer of hope disappears from his eyes and with them filled

embarrassment. His face quickly turn red and he looked the other way and quickly walked away.

You knew it wasn't right.

"Marcel! Wait!" you said, gabbing his sleeve

"What?" his voice now replaced with bitterness not sounding like his nervousness from a few minutes ago.

You were scared he was never like this. He was the school nerd, you were just a normal school girl. If the bullies see you with him, they'll bully you.

"Want to embarrass me more? w

Was that not enough?" He asks, shaking

"It's not like that!" you say quickly although you know it is.

"Not like what?" he said angrily. You've never see him like this.

"It's just... You're not my type..." you say gently

"Oh, so it's about that, isn't it, about popularity" He said.

*whistle* "What do we have here? A new couple?" the school bully, Jake said, smugly.

At that, we both stiffened and turned pale. You were dreading this day of your life. You quickly turned around,

*puts one finger in the air* "YOUR NOT THE BOSS OF ME SO SHUT THE F*** UP!" you yell at him and dragged Marcel by the arm to the back of the school.

"I'll show you I AM your type" he said, determined.

"No,Marcel, don't"

The power seem to have got to his head,

"Let me show you BECAUSE I AM YOUR TYPE!" he yells

He's starting to embarrass you as he attracts attraction.

"Fine but please don't embarrass me again, Marcel"

"I don't like my name..." he said, out of the blue.

"you don't?" I ask, bewildered

"Call me Harry from now on" the ordered

"But the name doesn't fit you..." you trailed off.

"Be surprised" he said and disappeared quickly into the school.
