WITRON Chapter4 ~Leaving~

“Watch out motherfucker! I’m on a freaking motorcycle!”

“Get off the motorcycle!! You clearly can’t drive!!!”

“FUCK YOU!!”

And with that I turned to the left lane away from the crazy little fucker that thought that it would be okay to run me over. I mean I was clearly turning, he should have known without me needing to turn the signal thing on. I would have turned it on but I don’t know where it is so I just turned. I mean people who drive cars do it so why can’t I?

Raine, you need to come back home. We are having an urgent pack meeting.

Sighing I got off on the next exit and tried to find my way back home. Key word tried.

I entered the freeway towards where I thought that the pack house was located. I knew I was going the wrong direction because I had been driving for like about 30 minutes and I was terrible with directions. It took about 10 minutes to get to the freeway when I first started so something was clearly wrong. Hell, I got lost when I went to the mall to get some jeans. I had to have security escort me out the mall and then wandered around until I found the hell hole I was forced to call home.

I should probably tell Tony that I’m lost.

Hey uh Tony?

Well uh funny story, I took someone’s motorcycle and rode off into the sunset and now I’m lost. The end.

Stay where you are, I’ll send someone over. I suggest you pull over or something.

Uh ok.

Just as I was about to make my way towards the lane where I would be able to pull over, a loud crash erupted from somewhere ahead and BAM!! Suddenly I was stuck in traffic. There was smoke rising from the cars that got in a crash and sirens were wailing like no tomorrow. I groaned, carefully tilted the bike and pulled my leg over, turned it off, and leaned against it. I had a feeling I was going to be here for a while so why waste my time sitting down. Making my butt numb?

You’re so weird.

Well I don’t want my butt to hurt from sitting down!! Plus I doubt I’ll be moving anytime soon so why not  save some gas?

Tell Tony what’s going on.

I can’t see her do it but I swear that Lily’s rolling her eyes at me. Who does that?

Uh Tony there’s another problem. Some moron crashed another moron’s car and now I’m in traffic

*sigh* how about i give you directions then?

“Dayum baby girl you look so sexy right now!”

Ok I’ve had enough. There’s just enough space for me to zig-zag through the cars and get away from this creep. Carefully mounting the bike I turned it on and raised my hand as my middle finger flipped pretty much everyone off, more importantly the creep.

 I rode off and asked Tony for directions and eventually ended up in the pack house.

I walked straight in and froze as I received stares from about 100 people inside the pack house. What the fuck? I spotted Tony and he immediately stood up and joined my side.

“Everybody welcome our new pack member, Raine. Most of you know her from earlier and for those who don’t, well now you do. What I wanted to talk to you guys about is that in a few months we will be joining another pack to help them out; their new alpha is young and needs guidance. Rouges have been spotted and have attacked the pack. Even though the pack is one of the strongest and has managed to fend them off, the alpha needs our aid. He is very experienced but has no mate. So please expect to be notified within a few months’ time of having to leave. Not everyone will leave, only the warriors and trainers and maybe a few families. I just wanted to warn you guys, and now that I have done so, you are excused.”

I grimaced, an alpha with no mate? No matter how strong you are, you still need your mate, especially an alpha. He needs his Luna or his pack might fall. I wonder what pack Tony is going to help. When everyone had left I was about to head upstairs to sleep but Tony stopped me.

“Raine, I have decided to strip you of your title as the second beta.”

Aw man!! I thought it would be fun!! Not wanting to giveaway my emotions I blanked my face and nodded.

“But I see a lot of potential in you. I know that you have trained in mixed martial arts in both forms and that you are a very strong young girl with a lot of fighting experience. You were into street fighting yes?”

What the fuck? How the hell does he know that? I would let my pack push me around because I didn’t want to expose myself. I would sneak out and street fight to vent out my anger and sadness of being left here by my parents and sometimes I would be bullied so severely that I would want to defend myself but wouldn’t be able to so I would take out my anger on those who dared to go against me. I earned a lot of money and would be able to take out guys 3x my size but I stopped when Ryder began to do a house lockdown because his girlfriend would sneak out and cheat on him. I was pissed because I was so close to able to buy my Camaro and then I suddenly had to stop. I spent most of my money buying necessities and was left with $2,500, I was planning to get a job but he didn’t want to accept the fact that his girlfriend was cheating so he just locked everyone in. I knew that I could take down the guards and whatnot but I couldn’t because I wouldn’t give myself away to a pack unworthy of knowing who I really am and what I’m capable of.

I mean I was me, Raine, but I also was Ace when I was in the streets.

“Yeah, what of it?”

“I’m going to send you away to a secluded area with masters to teach you new things and for you to review what you have been taught so that when you come back, in 7 months, you will be ready to take your place as the pack warrior.”

“Pack warrior? 7 months?”

“Yes, yes, now go pack.”

And with that I was rushed to my room to pack what I had just unpacked last night. Thankfully it wasn’t much but it still sucked. I was confused and so was Lily. How had Tony known that about me? I wasn’t able to ponder that for much longer because just as I began to think about that, I was suddenly taken to a car and was now on my way to the airport. This was all happening so fast that I didn’t have time to breathe. And before I knew it I was on a plane leaving to go to a foreign island thing.
