Keep walking. Just one foot after the other. Right, left, right.
The gun in my back made it hard to breathe. At the end of the ally was a white van. I'm dead. Yeah, this is the end for me.

"Hey Rowan, it's been a while. How are you?" The woman said.

We walked slowly to the van where I know two more agents waited to kill me. One to shoot and one to clean.  I bet this blond, sadistic barbie  wouldn't want to dirty her hands with my blood.
The air was full of nothing but my staggered breath. I did not respond
to her question. I just stepped into a van and a bag was thrown onto my head and I sat on the floor for what felt like hours. The silence was agonizing.

"Can someone please turn on the radio before I die of boredom?"

My question was met by a fist. I heard a hardy laugh as my head throbbed with pain.

"Listen to the ringing in your ears little girl."
