The love that could never be

Chapter 5

After a whole day of grief I decided to go out into the town. Then I saw Eli he was so handsome. I ran into his arms and started to cry. He asked me what was wrong. I said my mother had just died before my eyes. He hugs me tighter  but all I could think of  is the promise I made to my mother. I told him the whole story and the promise. He looked deep into my blue eyes and said I understand that you promised your mom that. But I'm so sad that I can't hold you anymore and call you mine. I said yeah I really love you Eli but we can't be together. As he looked at me he wiped the tears rolling down my face. He looked at me and said don't cry it will all be OK. I said no it won't how can I see you again without wanting you to hold me in your arms. He said I know it's going to be tough but if you feel that way then maybe we shouldn't see each other again I can go to the next town. I looked it up at him as he was crazy and watched  it tears roll down his face. I looked into his eyes and said I don't want you to go but you're going to have to. He said as you wish my love. As he hugged me One more time and looked into my blue eyes and kissed me and started to walk the other direction. And I started to walk back to the castle I looked back beginning to cry and he looked back to. Finally when I got back to the castle I fell  upon the floor and began to cry some more. Then I looked up at the ceiling asking God why ,why me.
