Walking down the halls is my version of the "walk of shame". Like literally, it's just the most depressing way to start my day. That is until somebody takes the initiative to make it lit. Speaking of which- "AYYEE MEL, KEL, GET YA'LL ASSES OVER HERE!" , our friends yell, effectively gaining our attention as well as half of the student body. As we make our way over there we get a few more welcomes from the other students. It's not that we're "popular" per say, but we do know a lot of people and they respect us because we at least try to respect everyone else. But there are some people that we just can't give any respect to because they either don't respect us or themselves. We make it to our friends and dap 'em up and before either of us can get a word in, Tyler drapes an arm over my shoulder and kisses my cheek. "How are my little chocolate drops on this fine morning?" he asks while doing the same thing to Kelly.
"We're great", we respond sarcastically because he knows just how much we hate being asked that question this early in the morning. He chuckles and moves away while shaking his head. When he's moving away he slyly rubs his hand over my butt and sends a wink my way. I just laugh and roll my eyes because it's not the first time he's done that and I know it won't be the last, he's such a flirt. We quickly get our things for first period and make our way to class before the final bell rings. I'm kinda lagging behind a little bit because I'm trying to make sure I have everything I need. Apparently, I wasn't paying enough attention to where I was walking and bumped into somebody sending both of our things to the floor.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I say, feeling majorly embarrassed .
"Don't even worry about it beautiful, it was my fault" a deep voice rumbles. I look up and I feel my breath hitch in my throat......
