The start

Avery's POV
I stared into Dan Howell's brown eyes. They were perfect but I knew I couldn't be lucky enough for him. So maybe I could be friends?
I talked with Dan and Phil for about 2 hours before they left. I got Dan's number before he left which was good. Phil and I got off to a amazing start! It was like we were high school besties. I went over to Alice and as I was about to speak, I felt my iPhone 6 vibrate my lower leg. I picked it up and looked at the contact, it was just a number but once I read the message I knew who texted me.
Dan: I like bananas, I like bananas in the sunshine.
Avery: Hey Dan
Dan: Hey! You still at the party?
Avery: Yeah why?
Dan: I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my apartment tomorrow and hang with Phil and I?
Avery: I would absolutely love to.
Dan: Ok! See you at 1?
Avery: Yeah sure!
My heart was racing like a thoroughbred racehorse at the Kentucky Derby. I was so happy, I couldn't control myself it was like I turned into a strawberry. Soon Alice seen my blush and asked so I told Alice, Alfie, and Zoe and they were all happy I was making friends.
