Denial

I looked at the blank canvas in front of me and sighed.

The only thing I wish for right now is for Ryuichi Furukawas guidance.

And maybe Ryo as well...

Nekko: "NOO! STOP THINKING THIS WAY!"

I kicked the floor and sent my swivel chair across the room, stopping in front of a picture of me and Awakawa sensei, my master.

(*^*) why oh why sensei did you have to leave for such a long vacation?!

If only you knew I haven't done as much as lift a paintbrush in the last 2 months!

But I easily could.

I could go back to painting like I was before, only to impress family and friends.

But I would never know what I am missing from the lifeless work.

Some days I'm so frustrated that I can't paint I want to scream.

But most days lately, I'm frustrated
That I have developed feelings for Ryo, even though he has been nothing but rude to me.

It's so awkward at the bar after everything that's happened.

From everyone finding out who I really was to Ryo even wanting my autograph, it's only natural.

But every day he is still there. He takes orders, mixes drinks, and cleans with everyone now.

I can't believe just a few weeks ago I hated his guts.

But they do say Love is the closest thing to Hate.

I may not be able to paint, but a small piece of charcoal lay on the table.

I need to zone out before I become unglued without repair.

I picked it up and sketched out the potted plant on my desk, surrounded by paints and brushes.

The sooner I accept that I like him the sooner I can move on from him.

I'm still in a state of denial even Though I know it's true.

Once I finished up the last stroke...

*RING RING RING*

My ringtone started baring through the studio!

That scared me!

I reached over to grab my phone, glancing at the caller ID.

I wonder what he wants?

Nekko: "Hello?"

Susumu: "Nekko! I know your shift doesn't start for another 4 hours but can you please come to the bar?! It's an emergency!!!"

An emergency?! Seriously?!

Nekko: "Ok I'm on my way!"

Susumu hung up, and I dropped my phone into my purse, which was conveniently a few feet away.

I rushed out of my studio to hail a taxi.

Nekko: "Tokyo Sakura Bar! On the double!"

The driver nodded and we set off on full speed.

What could of possibly happened?!
