You stare at the bright sunset that sets in the horizon of the sea. The sturdy balcony makes noises as it holds another body's footsteps which slowly make their way towards where you stand.

You were familiar with the long strides as footsteps, you knew the steady breathing and cautious feeling. It was the mysterious Pan's. You didn't turn around and kept staring at the sunrise, basking in the little warmth it brought. "The sunset is very radiant today." Pan says, his dark and British voice coming towards your ears.

"Yes. Absolutely." You agree, admiring how Neverland is peaceful on this evening. "I was hoping you would accompany me on a walk." He says, coming up next to you, resting his hands on the railing and stare at you with his green orbs. You mentally give yourself the ups and downs of this walk, your gaze still focusing on the sunset, which slowly fades into the sea.

"Why would I go on a walk with you? All you have done is punish me. A walk means you might kill me and dispose of me to the mermaids." You say, taking your turn to stare back with all the confidence you have within you. He sighs, his signature smirk playing on his lips. "You have a point, but it's great to take chances don't you think? Besides if I wanted to kill you, Felix would have shot and arrow at you by now." He chuckles, taking a step towards you and you take a step back.

"Oh so you will send others to do your dirty work?" You ask, raising an eyebrow. He hums, nodding at your words as a deep feeling erupts in your stomach. "Perhaps. I rather not get my hands dirty, but please join me on a walk. I would be absolutely delighted." He says, bowing a bit with one hand behind his back and one resting on his stomach.

Chuckling you nod, giving him the amount of trust he deserves, you walk with him out of the treehouse and into the cleared out space of camp. "Where will you be taking me with time? The cliffs? The beach? Mermaids Lagoon?" You ask, your hands tucked into your pockets as you walk with Pan to the path that leads deep into the forest.

With a low hum, as in thought, Pan stares out into the forest and smiles widely. "I have a perfect place. There is a willow tree dead in the middle of Neverland. Where it's leaves canopy and spread to other trees whilst some drape down. It has a base on the top of the trunk where you are able to view the stars and wonders of Neverland." He informs you, his hand locking with yours as he guides you down a makeshift path in the forest. You breathe in the forest air, the minty smell refreshing to your nose as you stroll down the path, hand in hand with a monster who you learned to throw a bit of trust at.

As minutes ticked by and the sun officially gone from Neverland, you both make it to the tree Pan described. More beautiful from view than in description your eyes wonder across the beauty of the single willow tree where it's tangled and thin beaches connect with other trees as some drape down from the canopy like vines. Nothing else grew from under the willows canopy and several metres separated the tree from the others, it was beautiful.

Pan takes this moment to admire the moonlight that seeped from the canopy and onto your face, admiring your eyes and complexion as you look at the wonder of the tree. His eyes scanning your face, from the nose, to your cheeks, to the imperfections and then to your eyes, the gateway to your soul. Warmth spreads throughout his body as he stares shamelessly at you with the same amount of adoration as you have with the tree.

After mere minutes of admiring, your eyes meet his dazzling green ones and breaking into a smile, he breaks into one. "It's-it's amazing!" You gasp, taking a glance at the tree again. He chuckles deeply and you take second to let the melodic sound ring in your ears. "Yes, quite beautiful really. Not as much beautiful as you of course, but mesmerising." He comments, and as you let the blush seep into your cheeks he leads you to the trunk of the tree where a few holes were made to make a ladder. He gestures you to go first and obliging to his request you put a foot into the first hole and grab the sides of the tree for support.

Then as you climb to the top, with Pan trailing behind you, you see something so breathtaking that you had to hold onto the nearest tree branch to gain balance. Pan smirks behind you and walks over to the sigh, his eyes glistening with admiration and excitement.
