What is love like?
For a person like myself
Whom never
Been in love
Or really felt loved
It's like a waterfall
Like your in a boat that going
Over the cliff
And you can't go back
Or more like a cliff
Without water
And just as you been pushed or you jump
You fall
Waiting for someone
To catch you at the very end
And when they don't
Or the let you drop you
Do it all again
Love pushes people off
To where they
Don't even know there falling
Sometimes we jump willingly
Knowing the dangers
That we come to face the only thing is
If the person whom
Suppose to catch you
Is jumping or falling off
Someone else's cliff
Who catches you
Yourself
But that can't be it because
Your falling and you would
Splat on the ground before
You save yourself
Once your falling you can't
Stop till you've
Been catched
Or lay black blue and red
On the hard floor ground
So do you jump or do you fall
Do they jump for you
Do the fall for you
But if they fall
Would you catch them in the end
Love is to Death
Love is to Life
Love is to Happiness
Love is to sadness
Love is to a crazy Big Bang
Love is like a waterfall
Love is a cliff that
We all keep falling off
------------
My friend actually was asking me one day how do you fall out of love and I immediately ask did she fall out of love with her boyfriend. She said no but my Aunt fell out of love with her husband. I didn't know how to answer this at first. Me to be honest I've never had a boyfriend I've never actually know what love is I'm as clueless to love as air bounces around the room freely. So I explained it by jumping off a cliff.
I guess the expression that if so and so told you to jump would you.And love has a strange way of pushing someone off a cliff or sometimes we jump. And I wrote this off that thought. To be honest I just realized I do a lot of symbolism in my poetry oh well. I hope you all like it
