There was two weeks left of tour, and everyone was on edge because of Mason's behavior. If it wasn't fighting, it was being rude to fans or doing something sexual with Nova in public. They were kicked out of the venue Metro Station was playing last night, before Metro Station even got a chance to play.

It all started when Nova pushed Mason over the edge and they started feeling each other up where anyone could see them. Then Mason got the bright idea to pull his manhood out of his pants, and let Nova ride him. One of the bouncers noticed them in one of the dark corners, and that's when they got kicked out.

Tonight however, Nova was grounded to the bus while Mason was inside the venue. He knew it was his fault, but he didn't care. He wanted Nova by his side real badly, but every time he tries to go out to the bus, someone stopped him.

Mason: (text) This sucks ass!

Nova: I agree, but I'm not the one who wanted to fuck in that dark corner last night.

Mason: Yea well Ryan shouldn't of grounded you to the bus. You aren't a kid and you should be here with me.

Nova: I think he did it for your own good. We have been spending so much time together. Maybe a few hours apart will do us good.

Mason: I guess so! I just wanted you near me. I mean I need my mommy.

Nova: You need a spanking! I mean for last night. I told you we'd get caught, but no, you said it was dark enough in that corner that no one would know what we were doing.

Nova: You were wrong!

Mason: Don't tell me that! :(

Nova: I will tell you that, and I will tell you this. I think after this tour is over, we should take a break. I'm not saying break up, but like give us a few days apart so we can have alone time.

Mason: I get that. How about we just spend time together on the weekends then?

Nova: That sounds good to me. We should probably slow down on the drugs too. Let that be our weekend thing. Oh, I also over heard tonight when Trace and Spencer were talking out by the bus, as I was getting back on because I got grounded. I head that Trace is thinking of quiting the band because of you and all the fighting.

Mason: Fuck! Not again! I mean when we broke up the band the first time it was partly his fault, and now this time could be all my fault. I am so stupid! I just got caught up in trying new things with you, and I let it control me. I need to be careful.

Nova: I need to be careful too. Maybe we should stop with the happy sticks. I've never had a problem with the tea, so we can continue to do that, and maybe take it a bit slower on the sex side of things. We've been at it like jack rabbits lately.

Mason: I think that would be for the best. I'm sorry I got you grounded to the bus.

Nova: That's okay, it's giving me time to think. Have a good show and be nice to your fans. You've been a bit cranky and rude with them this past week.

Mason: I'll be nicer to em, I promise. Well I should go, we play soon and I need to pee.

Nova: Okay, have fun! See you after the show.

Nova put her phone away, and rolled over in her bunk. She thought a nice nap would keep her mind off of certain things. As she laid there, Mason's voice rang in her head. Just the sound of him singing their song, Poison Girl.

Mason felt better after texting with Nova. Maybe they did need time apart. He'd spend the week doing whatever, and then when the weekend comes along, he could be with her. That sounded fair to him. For the first time that week, he didn't feel the need to get high before going on stage.

The happy stick Mason had in his pocket, no longer called out to him. He took it out and threw it away in the bathroom trash before going back out and over to the merch booth. He seemed happier, and it's all thanks to Nova. Just a little talking is all it took.

If it wasn't Nova, then maybe the little voice inside his head finally got through to him. It's weird how sometimes all you need is time away from someone to realize what is going on around you and how that person effects you. Mason was learning that tonight, all over again.

Mason knew what he was doing was wrong, but he liked doing it. He liked it more because it was with Nova, and he really liked her. She knew it was wrong to get him into those drugs with her, but she was never one to do drugs alone. Maybe that's why she still kept Daniel around, so she wouldn't have to do drugs alone.

Whatever the case may be, Nova was glad to share her drugs with Mason. She had taken a liking to him too quickly, but sometimes it happens that way. After that night Mason saw her with Daniel at the club bathroom, that's the last time she was ever with Daniel.

Mason was Nova's new Daniel, but after the last few days that all changed. Nova wanted Mason to be her new boyfriend, not some replacement for Daniel. That's also when she realized what she was doing to Mason. Pulling him down to her level, and keeping him drugged up so he would understand how she felt. It was a vicious cycle of I just wanna forget the world for a few hours with you.

Mason noticed how good it felt to not be high. Weed he had no problems with, because he never got so out of control like he does when doing coke or PCP laced weed. He always got a mellow high with the shrooms, nothing that would make him so angry he would lash out at others.

Now there were twenty minutes before he had to be up on stage, and he was at the merch booth taking photos and signing things for fans. He seemed to be back to his old self, but no one was too sure about that. It was the first time all tour, where he wasn't being a douche to anyone. Trace was surprised, and so was Ryan and Frankie.

"Okay one more person, then we really must get on stage," Mason announced to the last of the crowd. "Don't worry, we will meet more of you after the show."

After getting a photo with this one last girl, Mason and Trace headed to the stage. Mason introduced them as Metro Station, and asked everyone if they've been having a good time tonight. Lots of people screamed and cheered, as Mason was handed his guitar and they began to play Shake It.

After twelve songs and one cover song, they all got off stage. Trace seemed happy with Mason, and wondered if he was back to normal or if he was dreaming it. Whatever the case may have been, it just felt nice to have Mason being nice again.

Now Mason was the first over to the merch booth to meet more fans. He seemed excited about it. Trace was over at the bar to get a couple of beers. He brought Mason one, and went on meeting fans for the next hour. Once everything was packed, and ready to go, they announced it was time to leave.

That will forever be the night Mason gained a girlfriend, learned what harder drugs can do to you, and how to control the withdrawal symptoms. Sometimes you make mistakes, which in turn teach you a valuable lesson.
