Everything was happening too damn fast. For the past two days we were in the house talking, laughing, eating, and sleeping with one another. It was already day three and I couldn’t help but notice the fear growing inside me. I could even see it in Dae Hyun’s eyes.

Ever since day one, he was awake before me. I’d wake up to seeing his eyes gazing straight into mine, with his hand caressing my face. My heart ached as I imagined waking up into an empty space beside mine. I just couldn’t grasp reality without seeing those beautiful eyes staring back into mine first thing in the morning. He’s made it too damn difficult for me to forget everything I know. It was too… impossible.

At day three Dae Hyun said he needed to do some errands, I bet it was to meet up with his other friends to say his goodbye. I let him go as I stayed around the house. Oppa and unni still knew nothing, I wonder how they’ll react when everything is revealed to them.

I was staring at my wallpaper of my phone when a call came in. It was the detective.

“Yeoboseyo?” I answered.

“Park Min Young-ssi, are you at your friend’s house?” He asked.

“Y-ye, why detective Joon?”

“Can I come over, I have important matters to discuss with you.”

I nodded and ended the call, texting him the address of the house right after. I got on my feet and started preparing the living room for a guest. I made some snacks and some lemonade. I brought the snacks and drink to the coffee table. The doorbell rang and I just knew detective Lee Joon was here.

I let him in and he had something different in his eyes… hope?

He told me that he and his team planned on an operation to help him get Ripper permanently off his back. My eyes widened as I listened in full detail of their planned ambush on Ripper on the D-day.

“And then we’ll have him.” He smiled.

A tear escaped my eye and trailed down my cheek, “T-Thank you.” It was legit, bulletproof. Nothing could go wrong with this plan. I could just feel it.

Oh sweet Jesus you love me so, yes? I thank you so much for this man who’s volunteered to save the special person in my heart so much. I LOVE YOU *throws kiss to the heavens*

After the detective left I felt hopefull and cheerful. I awaited Dae Hyun’s return with a heart that started rejecting the possibility of him dying two days from now.

If there is a will, there is a way. I LOVE THIS WAHOOO~

Oppa and unni arrived first with bags of food.

“What the- where the hell did you get all the food?!?” my jaw dropped lower and lower as more food was pulled out from the plastic.

“We’re having a party, pabo.” Yun Ho snickered as he ran to the kitchen for some utensils.

“It’s someone special day you know.” Kahi wiggled her eyebrows.

OHMYGLOB ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? It’s his birthday?!? No…wait a minute, he said his birthday was June… it’s only Feb… SHIT IT’S OPPA’S BIRTHDAY

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY OPPA~!!!” I tackled him from behind.

“OOF~” He and I fell to the floor.

Oppa had a handful of friends over, along with unni’s. You know the rest of DBSK and After School, along with BoA sajangnim. Dae Hyun was already there and boy was this guy having the time of his life -_-
