It has been another three months since I've seen August not because I didn't want to but because he told me he thought it was best but he writes me and he told me that he's alright and have a court date in a couple weeks which is fine with me .

I was now eight months pregnant and this is the one I really needed August my feet and back hurted all the time and I never really wanted to get out the house , the only reason I'm leaving my bed today is because my mom , momma Sheila and Selena piratically made me have a baby shower that I didn't want anymore because August wasn't here .

"Are you ready ?" Selena asked knocking on the door .

"Yea I'm ready ." I smiled I had on a pink dress with pink flip flops of course with my engagement ring .. nothing major .

"You look beautiful babe ." Selena smiled hugging me .

"Have you heard from T , he hasn't returned none of my calls ."

"Yea he had business to take care of and he should be back in a hour ." She smiled all excitedly.

I wobbled down the stairs and out the door before getting in the seat .

Ring ! Ring ! Ring !

"Hello"
"Hey Kylie."
"Oh hi Anika ."

Me and Anika have been talking off and on since that night we met  .

" sorry I can't make it to your baby shower but I want to come over later to talk ."

"Sure I'll be back around eight or nine ."

"Okay thanks , see you later ."

We pulled up to momma Sheila house and everyone seemed over excited.

"This is beautiful , thanks you guys ." I cried walking into the all pink dining room.

"Anything for you sweetie ." My mom said smiling placing a crown on my head .

My mom and August uncle have been talking for a couple months now and I'm happy she happy and I know my dads happy she's finally being able to be happy .

After an hour of playing games and eating I was tired .

I opened all my gifts and took pictures and now I  was sleepy .

"Before you go to sleep we have one more present ." Momma Sheila smiled .

"Yea it's from me , Sheila , Selena , Twan and garret ." My mom smiled .

"Okay where is it ?" I asked .

"Close your eyes ." Selena smiled .

I looked at them weird and closed my eyes .

"Open !"they yelled .

I opened my eyes and tears started to roll down uncontrollably in front of me was August with a bouquet of red roses .

"Surprise baybeh ." He chuckled before kissing my lips .

"Baby when you get here ?"

"LastNight I'm telling you it hurted a nigga not being able to come directly to you but I had to look good fa my laydeh ."

"Owe ! " I said as Kennedy kicked my side ."August do me a favor and not talk because your daughter is hurting me ." I said .

Everyone started laughing and August shook his head before kissing my lips .

"It's been six months since I last ate some real food so can somebody hook me up ?" August said sitting beside me .

"You a grown a-" Twan stopped as he looked at momma Sheila and he went to the backyard .

He knew if he cussed she would have beat his ass .

"Baybeh I'm here to stay Ian Neva leaving y'all again ." He said kissing my lips .

"Good because tonight you owe me a foot massage , and back massage ."

"Anything you want baybeh ." He chuckled .

It felt good to be home around the people that actually care about a nigga but I was more excited about being wit my baybeh .

"Baybeh why my pillows like this ." I furrowed my eyebrows ."and why the hell my cologne almost gone ."

"Maybe for the last six months I've been sleeping with yo pillows like that and MAYBE just maybe I sprayed a little on your side of the bed and pillows ." Kylie said climbing in the bed with nothing but a bra and biker shorts .

"You weird as hell ma ." I chuckled .

" I just missed you so much ." She smiled  .

Knock ! Knock ! Knock !

" who is that ?" I asked .

" Anika , you know milia mom ." Kylie smiled .

I smiled because I haven't seen milia and that was my homie .

I followed Kylie down stairs until I noticed it was police officers outside .. A nigga got back lastNight and Ian do shit within 24 hours so what now .

"August come here !" Kylie yelled .

I walked to the door and saw Anika and milia except milia had bruises on her face and Anika didn't look the way she did when we first met .

"She is going in for child abuse , child neglect and several other charges she asked us to bring her here she is willing to give up all rights to you guys if you want the child ." One of the women officers said while having Anika in hand cuffs .

"Yea we want her ." I said and Kylie looked at me .

I couldn't help it milia is my homie and I can't let my homie go to foster care or somewhere like that .

"Here is the few things she had , are you family members ?" The officer asked .

"Nah ." I said shaking my head .

"I'm glad we found you guys because the people at the address we had on her didn't want anything to do with her I'm happy she have you two ." The women smiled before walking off and putting Anika in the police car .

"August what are we gonna do with two kids ?" Kylie said walking behind me to the kitchen .

" take care of them , look Kylie I couldn't let them take her like that Ight , I don't know why but I couldn't she's my homie and homies stick together ." I said looking at a smiling milia , ever since they handed me her she hasn't stopped smiling.

"August !"she yelled

"You want her or not ?" I huffed  .

"We gotta go shopping tomorrow." Kylie said taking milia away from me .

I smiled and shook my head first night back I already have a one year old.
