It was ten in the morning. It was quiet and peaceful at the café I worked in. As usual, I wiped the cups at the counter and listening to my tunes while waiting for a customer to come in.
Cling.
The sound of the chimes echoed in the place. A familiar pinkette walked in the café. She was a regular here. She sat at the table nearest to the window on the right, her usual place. She placed her teal colored bag on the chair beside her. I smiled.
"The usual?" I asked the woman. She turned to me and nodded. I prepared her usual cappuccino. She may be a regular in the cafe but I never got the chance to ask her name.
I walked to her and placed the plastic cup on the table. She was busy scanning through the contents of her phone, as usual. Not wanting to bother her, I went back to the counter and put my earphones back on.
The chime bells rung again. A certain blue head came in with a smile plastered on his face.
"Ohayo!" He greeted. I smiled and replied.
"Ohayo, Kaito." I said. He went in the counter and went straight to the employees' restroom to change to his uniform. As he went out, he looked around to see only the pinkette who was listening to her music.
"Hm... Its her again." Was all Kaito said. I raised my brow.
"You know her?"
"Apparently, yes." He answered. "She's my classmate in the music school I attend. Her name is Megurine Luka. I don't know much about her though. She never talked to anyone."
"Oh..." I nodded slowly at his statement and averted my gaze on her again. A smirk was plastered on Kaito's face.
"You like her don't you?" I cringed at his sudden question.
"What makes you say that?"
"Dude, you watched her ever since she started coming here." He commented. "Plus, it looks like she want to know you more." I raised my brow at him.
"What are you talking about?" He pointed at the girl. I looked at her and caught her staring at me. She immediately averted her gaze back to her phone. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.
"Go to her, idiot!" He pushed me out of the cashier and left me. I looked at him in annoyance. I saw 'Luka' again. She was smiling out of the blue. It gave me a little tingly feeling in my chest. My body finally walked up to her.
"Hey." I said. She seemed to hear me and looked up at me. She pulled out one of the tiny speakers.
"Yes?" She said.
"May I sit with you?" I asked. She was thinking.
"Um... I just noticed that you came here everyday so I-"
"Sure, I don't mind." She cut me. My eyes widen a bit and I took the seat next to her.
What now?
She handed me on of her earphones. "Wanna listen?" She asked.
"U-Uh... Okay." I put the red tiny speaker in my ear and listened to her music. It was upbeat song.
"This song is 'Happy Synthesizer' by my classmate Kagamine Len and his friend, 96neko." She smiled when the chorus came.
"Its really cute." I commented and smiled at her. She seemed surprised for a moment then looked away from me. Did I say something wrong? I think I should just shut up.
The next song came in. This time it was a heartbreaking song. Her expression changed to a hurtful one.
"This one... Its sung by my classmate, Gumi Megpoid. The title is 'Gears of Love'." She said. The song had really deep lyrics. As the song went on, she still had that disheartened look. She saw me looking worried and smiled.
"I'm sorry. Its just these songs just bring back so many memories. Like this one." She sighed and stated. "I just broke up with my boyfriend two weeks ago." I felt pained to hear those words. Does she still love him?
"Sorry to hear that." She waved her hands.
"It's fine! Its fine!" She said. The sad song ended and another started playing. It was a somehow happy and romantic one. It was in English. The girl regained her happiness again.
"This is 'Mirrors' by Justin Timberlake. Its really nice." She stated and put some strands of her hair behind her ear. I looked at her.
"Ah, I was wanting to ask." She looked at me happily. "What's your name?" I was shocked. I knew her name but she didnt know mine.
"Gakupo. Gakupo Kamui." I said. She nodded and said her name though i know it already. We continued to listen to the song. The chorus came. As if it was my instinct, I held her hand.
"I think... This song has affected me too." I said. She looked at me with wonder. Her cheeks were already the same color as her hair. I smiled.
"I don't wanna lose you now~ I'm looking right at the other half of me. The vacancy that sat on my heart is a space that now you hold." Her eyes widen even more. I felt blood run to my face.
Its like you my mirror. My mirror's staring back at me.

~ At the sidelines ~
"So the samurai lover can sing..." The bluenette chuckled as he watched the couple blushing at each other. He immediately took his phone and took a picture of the two. He smiled at himself.
"I'm gonna post this~" he pushed the 'post' button. In a blink of an eye, many notifications appeared in his and Gakupo's phone.
"KAITO YOU IDIOT!"
