Chapter 5:

**4 years later**

I was sleeping peacefully, until I heard a high pitched scream, I jolted up quickly which caused me to slam my head into the bunk above me…

"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" Lily squealed, I groaned

Well welcome to my new life, I've made it to NYC university, it's actually been four years…

My roommate is literally crazy! She's British, her name is Lily… she's 23 but she sure doesn't act like it…

I've studied Literature; I'm planning to be an English teacher… and today's graduation!!!

After we've been saved from the island… I've been desperate to find… him…

Ever since the plane crash, I couldn't stop thinking of him…

But I moved on after a year…

So here I am, I'm also 23, I'm dating a really sweet guy, his name's Logan, we met the first day I got to New York, we've been dating for a year now…

"KAY!" shouted Lily

I glared at her "You do realize it's 5am right?" I said

"Pfft, yeah so? We're graduating today!!! Why aren't you happy??!!!" she asked

"I don't know, maybe because I woke up to a screaming 23 year old!" I said rolling my eyes

"Oh yeah sorry about that" she said sheepishly

"Well I don’t think I can get back to sleep now" I said getting up and walking to the bathroom…

I stripped off my clothes, hopped in the shower, and turned on the hot water…

"You know… someone visited today while you were asleep, he told me to tell you that he'd be waiting for you outside our dorm.." Lily said walking in

I stuck my head outside the shower curtain "Logan stopped by?! Why didn’t you wake me up?!"

"I did wake you up, but that wasn't a good idea….. you know you punched me in the face right?" she said

I burst out laughing "Really?!"

She just rolled her eyes then walked out, I was done by now, so I took a towel and wrapped it around my body…

Then walked out of the bathroom and to my closet, I pulled out short shorts, and a navy blue jumper…

I put them on, and left my hair to dry…

"Kay?" Lily said, I turned to face her, she was laying on her bunk staring at the ceiling

"Yeah?"

"There's something you need to know…" she trailed off

I sat at the end of her bed, waiting for her to continue…

She opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by someone knocking on the door…

"Um I'll tell you later" she said

I nodded then walked to the door, I opened it and found Logan standing there..

I jumped in his arms and hugged him tightly, he kissed the top of my head

"Hey" he said

"Hi" I said
