Chapter 5: Meeting

Benj's POV


Ayaaan, makakasama ko na tong sina Lexie, kahit walong beses lang. Eh, si Shirley lang naman ang maganda sa apat na yun eh. Excited na ako! BENJ? IKAW BA YAN? NAKAKAINIS!

Benj: *Sa telepono Dad?


Sa kabilang linya: Hello, Sir Benj.


Benj: Bat nasa inyo ang phone ni daddy?


Sa kabilang linya: Naiwan niya po, nag memeeting po sila sa isang hotel.


Benj: Dalian niyo po ang pagpunta dito ah.


Di nanaman si daddy ang kukuha sakin. Palagi siyang may trabaho, halos di na kami nagkikita eh.

Shirley's POV


*nasa kwarto si Shirley


Lexie: Ate Judilyn, Mga 5 mo ang sundo.in ngayon ah? Kasi may meeting kami eh!


Judilyn: Yes baby.

Judilyn: Come on baby.

Shirley: *lumabas galing sa kwarto Ti-


Lexie: Ay may- Shirley? Bat andito ka?


Shirley: Uh. Tito Jules, sabihin na natin.


Lexie: Teka, Tito?


Jules: Ah, Oo. Kung pwede sana, Lexie, makitira muna si Shirley dito.


Shirley: Oo nga naman. Please, Lexie.


Judilyn: *nasa labas ng bahay Baby, bat ang tagal mo! *pumasok Sino ka?


Lexie: Ate Judilyn, siya po si Shirley. Shirley, Ate Judilyn.


Judilyn: Bakit siya andito?


Lexie: Makikitira sana sila. Please Ate, please.


Judilyn: It's okay with me.

Judilyn: So ano, Shirley, Sabay ka na? Para di ka na rin ma late.

Ms. Belo: Excuse me, Mr. Jalbuena. I think we are having a class over here.


Benj: Yes po.


Ms. Belo: Then why are you talking?

Ms. Belo: Ms. Bernardo, transfer beside Mr. Jalbuena. Mr. Lagdameo, sit beside Ms. De Silva.

Ms Belo: Walang pero pero! Dalian niyo na!

Benj: Hello, Shirley.


Shirley: Hi, Benj.


Ms. Belo: That will be your seat everytime it's Science, okay?


Benj and Shirley: HA, ANO PO?


MS. Belo: Yes, until I get to convince your teacher to move you permanently in those seats,


Benj: Pero Ms-


Ms. Belo: I don't care if you don't like each other. That's even better because finally, you will listen to my discussions. Clear?

Benj: Kung makasalita parang di na layo sa kanyang mga kaibigan oh.


Shirley: Hoy Benj, 'Wag mong kalimutan na nasaharapan ko si Lexie: Eh Ikaw, ANG NAKAPALIBUT SAYO, Di mo close.


Benj: Kung di close, edi, HINDI. Problema ba yun?


Shirley: Ewan ko sayo, Benjamin Jalbuena.


Drake's POV

Mapapakinabangan ko tong Marjorie De Silva to. Eh, ang talino eh. Pati Calculus alam eh. Gawin natin to bilang kodigo. Teka.


Drake: Hi, Marj.

Drake: Patulong naman oh, please?


Marj: Di mo gets ang lesson?


Drake: Di eh. Ano ba ang sagot sa #1?

Lexie: Tantanan mo na kami Benj!


Benj: Wait, may selecting of officers pa. 'Wag muna ngayon.


Shirley: Gusto mo magpakalbo? Free dito sakin.


Benj: No thank you.


Marj: Ano ba talaga problema mo ha, Mr. Benjamin Jalbuena!


Drake: Ako wala-


Benj: Wag kang magsalita, Drake. Feeling ikaw naman ang tinatanong ah.


Drake: Sorry.


Benj: See you, Misses Sungit.


Shirley: Like we care, right girls?


Benj: Care mo sarili mo.


Marj's POV

Ms. Ramos: Okay so first, it's been three days since the opening of classes, and I'm very confident to say that you've known these people beside, at you back and at your front. To formally start this electing, any volunteers to open the nomination?


Lexie: *raises hand


Ms. Ramos: Okay, Ms. Domingo.


Lexie: I open the nomination.


Ms. Ramos: Thank you, Ms. Domingo, any nominations?


Marj: Ma'am, ah, pwede po ba na ako ang magsusulat sa pisara?


Ms. Ramos: These are the kind of students I need in my class. Yung student na may volunteerism. Go ahead, Ms. De Silva.


Drake: I nominate Benj Jalbuena!


Shirley: Ako, I nominate Marj De Silva as Class President!


Lexie: I close the nomination.


Archie: I second the motion.


Ms. Ramos: Okay class, we have two nominees, Ms. De Silva and Mr. Jalbuena. Raise your hand if you want to vote. Okay first up, Ms. De Silva.

Ms. Ramos: 3? Okay 3. I'm pretty sure the rest of you votes for Benj since he's the only one left to vote for.


*Silence


Ms. Ramos: Okay, Benj. I declare you as Class President a round of applause please.

Ms. Ramos: Benj, I would like to see you after classes today.


Benj: Pero Ma'am, may meeting pa po ako.


Ms. Ramos: After meeting then. Goodbye and thank you, class.


Class: Good bye and thank you, Ma'am Betty.

PS: Good Afternoon, dear students. I would like to welcome you with great honor and responsibility. From this day and so, you will be stars, not only inside your classrooms but beyond the walls of Luv U. To start with the activities, let me call in Ms. Bettina Ramos to announce the proposed activities.


Ms. Ramos: Thank you, PS. Dance Troupe, together with the Glee club will go on a camping experience you'll never forget. But of course, you have to go in groups. 7 in each group is accepted. So, Benj, Drake, Archie, you'll be in one group with Lexie, Marj, Shirley and Patty.
