Chapter 9: Yes or no???

Finn P.O.V

It has been 1 wee since Rachel got out of the hospital and she is finally coming back to school today. That isn't the only exciting thing happening today though because I had the GLEE club set up something special for when I ask Rachel to be my girlfriend with a promise ring. I kinda stole that idea from Sam (they became friends at football practice) but anyways I really hope she says yes because I think she might be the one. I turned to Rachel because we were sitting in my truck parked outside of the school. "You ready Rach?" She looked down and slowly nodded but I could tell she was scared out of her mind. "Hey look at me" I said while lifting her chin slowly until she was looking me in the eye. "He is gone Rach he is going to be in prison for a long time so there is no way he will get to you. If he ever does come back though I will be right by you protecting you from him because there is no way I am letting him hurt you again. You safe now alright?" She nodded and then hugged me tightly before we finally walked into school and what we saw brought a huge smile to Rachel's face.

Rachel P.O.V

When we walked into school there was a huge banner that said, "Welcome Back Our Favorite Head Cheerio." Then there was a poster on the wall that said, "The Star is Back and Stronger Than Ever." The poster had the signature of every member in our little club. I smiled and kept walking with Finn by my side until we got to our lockers and what I saw on mine mad me smile even bigger. My locker was painted aqua blue, my favorite color, and had medium sized hearts and each one had a note on it. I read a few of them before putting every single one in my book-bag and then opened my locker. After I opened my locker rose petals fell on my head. I looked to my left and saw Finn smiling at me. I was at a loss of words at how much people cared about me this has honestly been the best day of my life and I don't think anything can make it better.

Artie P.O.V (I needed to add the other)

I roll into the choir room to see everyone setting up for Finn's big surprise. I was ecstatic when he told me he was gonna ask Rachel to be his girlfriend. I was so happy because now just one more girl will be taken and then maybe I can let out my big secret........

Finn P.O.V (again)

It was finally time for GLEE and also time to pop the question to Rachel. I told her I had to use the bathroom and she nodded and headed for the choir room. I then changed into my tux and went in through the back entrance so she wouldn't see me. I really hope this goes as planned because if it doesn't I will be heartbroken.

Rachel P.O.V

I walked into the choir room only to see a bunch of rose pedals on the ground and my best gay Kurt Hummel standing in front of what appeared to be the only chair in the room. "What's going on?" Kurt just takes my hand and sits me down on the chair. He then walks away and music starts playing and I see Finn walks out in a tuxedo. He sings Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars and is looking at me the whole time with the GLEE club harmonizing in the back. By the time he finished I was crying happy tears. Finn then walked up to me and grabbed both my hands. "Rachel when I first met you I saw something more than just the head cheerio. I saw a girl who I had a feeling I would spend the rest of my life with. When you got shot I felt like I was going to die. You make me feel so special and when I am with you I feel like there is nobody else there but you and I. I never told a girl I loved her but I can easily say that I love you Rachel Berry. So, with that being said." He then got down on one knee with a ring box in his hand. "This isn't an engagement ring but it is a promise ring. I know I am gonna end up marrying you one day and you will be the mother of my children." By now I am sobbing. He opens the box and I see a 1 carrot diamond ring. "Rachel Berry will you please do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?" I am now looking at him and for once I am not afraid. I looked down and then back at him. "I............"
