Chapter 1

Okay so this is the second chapter!

I hope you liked the first i know it was really really short but it was just the beginning I will make my chapters as long as i would want them to be. I would be really grateful if you gave me tips on what to kind of add or improve to the story as it progresses

I look down at my watch

21:38 My flights in 2hours so i've got some time to kill as i've already checked in. So i take out my phone and start texting Leah.

21:39-

Hey L whats up?

I looked up to see a woman sitting down opposite me holding a baby, I smiled and looked back down to see her reply. 

HEY! Nm just doing stupid last minute summer h/w omg Im going to miss you sooooo much babe! still can't believe your mum is sending you away ugh who am i going to talk about Kory with at school....Hayden will never understand Jelly fish or the bean bag body...

I chuckle at her message as all the memories come flushing through my mind. I will really miss her. I've known Leah since i cant even remember but i know that our parents are really close from their college days but we didn't really care because we made so many amazing memories when we were younger and then Hayden came along in year five (grade 4) and we became the three musketeers.

OMG L stop your gonna make me tear up...and i don't want that to happened aha i know im going to miss you too  but as we said we will Skype with every spare second we have and if we don't have internet we use up all our money on data to snapchat live k.

Me and Leah talked for about an hour until she said she had to go so i called her to say good bye and then she left. I put my phone in my pocket and sat down in my seat.

I must of dozed off because when i stood up a pretty woman was shaking me saying i had to get up before i  miss my flight.

I looked down at my watch again.

22:31. I thanked her and i walked to the entrance of the plane.

It then occurred to me that i was actually leaving. I was leaving to America to live with a family that i've never met before called the Lockwood's My mother said my dad used to go to college with Mr. Lockwood which did not comfort me as my Dad did not hang out with a good crowd when he was younger but that didn't bother me anymore. My mother told be to be polite and respectful. The thing is that im not living with them forever my mother wants me to stay there for at least a 6 months or so. This is because she need time to 'think' I knew this was a lie because i knew she didn't like me very much i mean she loves me and all but she's always mad at me especially after my dad passed away.

I leaned back on my seat and closed my eyes.
