TRIGGER WARNING
(sorry to anyone who has had to experience the event that happens a bit later on, my prayers are with you and your family)All tour Mia and Louis became best friends, they'd do everything together and they knew everything about her, except Louis didn't know about her insomnia. On the rare times Mia actually got a couple hours of sleep, she awoke due to a nightmare. The nightmare that kept reappearing. It was about a certain person and a certain event, and whenever Mia tried to sleep she was haunted by this dream...
"NO!" I screamed as the beast of a human pushed my brother up against the wall. He pinned Ashton's 8 year old body up against the window and handcuffed him to the radiator, unable to move. Ash was forced to watch with blood dripping from his nose and a gash along his eyebrow as our dad walked towards me, sat in the corner crying. Slowly he lay me down and took off my pajama bottoms, pulling my pants with them. Ashton cried out in pain because he knew what was happening. He knew what a monster he was, and he knew what was about to happen.
Mia couldn't recall anything after that until she woke up the next day with her brother lay next to her crying his eyes out. Their mother had returned from their grandparents house to find that Ashton and Mia's dad had left. She cried for days when Ashton told her what the beast has done. She was afraid to date after that, but in a couple of years she'd found another man to have their two siblings, Lauren and Harry.
Louis held Mia whenever she awoke from the nightmare, and comforted her. He didn't think anything of it, he just thought it was because she was away from
her mother, that was the only thing he didn't know. And it was hard for Mia to keep it a secret.sorry for the short chapter, I had to move it along because this isn't the main story
